@@thebandanadee8265 I personally think Mega man 3 is a low point in the series, Caddicarus described it really well as "the best of Mega Man 2, and the worst of Mega Man "
This is frickin’ amazing to listen to. The beat mixing is the best I’ve heard in megaman. Fast paced but not screechy. This is definitely my favorite track in MM10
In my opinion, this is one of the best NES tunes ever. It's especially difficult to find a good metal remix of this because it's so awesome on it's own that it'd take a lot to hit the instruments perfectly. A shame Solar Inferno isn't popular to MM2 Wily Stage 1 and 2's level, as I find tunes like Solar Inferno being overshadowed by it. I think it's way better than the popular themes. But like I said, my opinion.
Magnus Blade Hey Wily Theme 1 is good though. Solar man's theme is my favorite throughout the series but there's no shaming popular themes just because they're popular.
TheGreenShyGuy Ah. I get where you're coming from and agree. Though I wasn't shaming Wily 1. No denying it's a masterpiece. Was just pointing out that themes like these are underrated compared to the well known. I meant no disrespect towards Wily 1, and if I did come off that way, I apologize.
This song is like when the Wild West movies go to a Country-themed restaurant-bar, and of course it somehow leads to every single person getting caught up in a fist fight
0:00-0:12 Everyone's sitting down at a Country-themed restaurant-bar 0:13-0:36 Ladies singing up on stage 0:37-0:48 Uh oh, someone's starting something! 0:48-1:11 ALL-OUT FIST FIGHT WAR
As much as I hate the Wily stages, I have to say their asinine difficulty makes for a lot of drive to succeed. See, that's what makes challenging games so addicting and fun. Fun repetition is also how nostalgia is built. I hated this game, but I couldn't stop playing it. I just got to Wily today and ran out of power ups, so I was ready to throw in the towel finally out of frustration. Now, as I sit here, all I can think of is how darn fun it is to replay the levels and hone my skills. It's really a classic.
Let's do a checklist. Did 9 make its wily stages primarily of things the player has seen before? No. The Tornado Man Platforms don't even make an appearance, it's built on the Rising Wind Platforms you need Tornado Blow to use. Did 8? Yes. The first thing we see is the sled from Frost Man, one of my favorite stage gimmicks, to be honest. In the next stage, we get the Jet from Tengu Man. Did 9 have a major difficulty spike that shouldn't be there? Flower Miniboss that's weak to a weapon we don't have any more unless you used an M-Tank. Does 8? Well, the boss that needs Mega Ball is annoying but other than that? Not really. Are 9s bosses extremely unfair? Let's see. Spike balls that kill you in 1 hit, the first two bosses are weak to Tornado Blow, which only has 4 uses, a boss fight that the average player can't even beat unless they have the item that cuts your damage in half, and a boss that has a form that you wouldn't know how to beat unless you had a wiki. Does 8? Let's see again! Boss that you can't hit with anything but 1 weapon, boss fought in the air, so you have some more maneuverability, Bass, The starting boss from Rockman and Forte, And Wily. Not too many hard parts. And finally, can you get through either castle on a buster only run? No for 9, and probably not for 8. I have to use Astro Crush on the last stretch of the sled section to get across.
@@ShursGarden if you cry and whine about difficult areas that kill you often because you didn't know how to beat it without a walkthrough or without trying again, you shouldn't be playing Mega Man.
@@jimmywhite6863 normally I'd ask why you're replying to a 2 year old comment, but I still hold this belief. There's a difficult game, And then there's "Hey, freeze the death beams despite never having ANY clue that you can do that!" Mega Man 9's Wily Castle is THE worst in the seris. A game is supposed to show you the mechanic first, and THEN throw instant death at you. Mega Man 9 forgets to teach in it's later stages. Wily Machine 9's first form is a perfect example of this. You get no hint that the eggs will damage him if he's hit in the jaw.
Yoga Flame indeed - this guy's little biography says that he's been trying to keep his human friends from wasting away by inventing his own self-titled workout routine, which I headcanon to be mostly hot yoga to the tune of surfer rock.
This reminds me of the franks theme (earthbound) for some reason Also is it just me or does videogame soundtracks sound SO much better than real songs? I also was gonna add this track to one of my videos, but idk how to and finally, I feel like this should've been for charge man
2:04 Oh, arpeggios, things which didn't appear in the old Mega Man games...but they sound good here and Pump Man, better than what some NES games did *spamming them non-stop!*
Holy crap, this game came out 6 years ago. Its weird to think that the sequel to the revival of Mega Man came out when I was 11. Actually that was the year I discovered Egoraptor and my Wii Virtual Console. Call me a hipster, illegitimate, or late to the party, but god I love these game
”illegitimate”!? Dude, the fact that you discover Mega Man years after its release makes it even more awesome. Fuck the labels and enjoy MM for the masterwork that it is! 😄
Honestly, I’ve played Mega man 10, and Nitro man, Commando man, Solar man, and Strike man have to be my favorite. There catchy music, their weapon, there stage, just, Perfection
Aren't you glad Capcom went back to the old style 8-bit configuration. I hope they bring Resident Evil back to its roots as well. Please Capcom listen to the gamers.

I just started into this game this last Friday to preview it on easy mode. By gosh, this track is basically NES metal and is by far the best track Mega Man’s musicians have ever produced. I also love the overall vibe of this game… but Pump Man makes me feel some kinda way, and not positively.
I think it would be also really important to bring back Street Fighter to its roots (Maybe more than Resident Evil). Resident Evil games are often pearls or deceptions to the eyes of the fans. Same thing goes with Megaman and Street Fighter. Megaman 9 and 10 were "horrible" for most players. Street Fighter IV was just awful to play and to look at. Capcom needs to put their schemes into the trash can and look back at the good old days. The Retro-style is what they should aim for.
