MEGAMAN: NIGHTFALL 

Hello everyone :) I'm very happy to see you all enjoying this animation I made. I did put allot of time, thought, and effort into it and I'm pleased to see it being appreciated. I've been overwhelmed by the amount of people asking for a full blown series or saying that they will fund a full blown project. As flattered as I am by this, please know that it was never my intention to make this any more than what it is. I'm very much in the early early stages of learning this fine art of animation. It's purely a hobby I play with in my spare time :) I have no desire to earn any funding. I simply wish to share whatever small projects I may make in the future. Thank you all for the positive feedback :)

Beautiful and sad... exactly how I imagined how the classic series would end. R.I.P. Rock, Blues, and Forte...

This would be a great game to tie together the Classic and X series together, if Capcom ever ends the Classic series that is.

I love how Dr. Light still cares about Wily even though he's betrayed him so many times.

What’s crazy is how the whole Zero thing is straight from the X games. It’s just a blender of feelings as to how a happy simple little series that never took itself so seriously could go to complete hell to become something new. I guess they took a reboot just a bit too literally...

I like the moment when Bass sees Zero kill Wily, with the X standard Warning which later becomes a staple in the series. It shows that Zero is a whole new threat with no real known way of stopping it.

You can tell so much about the tension in the characters. Bass is so surprised and distressed by the loss of Wily, Light feels lost and helpless, and Blues wants to help but doesn’t know how

such a shame this won't be developed into a story. i respect your decision, but i can only wonder how awesome this would be (especially the scenes with Protoman).

Wow this is very well done. While Inafune has come out and stated that Zero wouldn't do something like that. I like to think that he would in the beginning anyway. The maniacally laughing Zero from MMX4 certainly seems like he could.

This is criminal that this doesn't get a fan movie or inspire Capcom to make a show of something at least similar to this. Thanks for showing love to the Blue Bomber.

Am I the only one who looked at Zero's system screen and saw the Ruby Spears Mega Man theme song lyrics? 😂

I have to say this is extremely well made and true to the classic series. It might be trivial, but I love how you put all the robot masters on the right alliances. The Megaman 1 robot masters still being with Dr. Right and the Wily robots (what's left of them) ranging from only from Megaman 2, 3, 5, 7, and 8. Usually I see most media just randomly club together all the robot masters together with no regards to who's alliances they actually belong to.

"Q: Why are the robots bleeding!? They are ROBOTS! A: It''s not blood. I imagine that these high tech robots probably have oils and coolants coursing through their bodies to regulate their systems." Well... I'm pretty sure the robots in the Mega Man series are biomechanical. But I digress, this animation is so well done. Looks a million times better than the new Mega Man show coming out.

The animation is amazing... Not to mention the stuff shown was disturbing. I feel like could be a good "what if" scenario because in canon, Wily sealed Zero away after he attacked him. At least I think that's what happened.

This tells an interesting story full of emotion. We start with the Light family relaxing outdoors while at the same time we have Wily working on Zero who kills him as a result of the zero virus and his programming bug. We then have Bass who sees this and being angry that Wily who was like his father was killed and he can never prove him self to him becomes furious and tries to take Zero out while we see the flashing red WARNING sign from the X series probably a cause of the zero virus and Zero himself looking back at bass with an evil grin as he relishes what he's doing. Megaman eventually finds out that Wily's whole compound is being destroyed from the smoke rising from the chaos going on inside, he gets outfitted for battle then has a discussion with Protoman where he says he wont help Mega this time so he's on his own and Megaman looks on before heading out. He arrives and finds the inured Bass broken up who reveals what's going on and about the murder of Wily. All of the MM1 robot masters look on as they hear the news as Wily was like a father to them and Light just laments and wonders why it came to this for his old friend and colleague. Mega eventually finds Zero amongst the remains of all of Wily's other creations who banded together to bring Zero down and failed. He tries to fight Zero but stands no chance and gets badly damaged, Protoman who was clearly lying before comes in to try to buy time for mega to escape with Bass back home before leaving himself. Light hears firsthand exactly what happened from Bass who saw it all and is a bit shocked but comes back to reality quite fast. After being told to leave him alone Light leaves bass to go and try to fix Megaman but while on the way he is confronted by Protoman who just is furious with Light. What happens afterward is a mystery but I would like to think Zero is eventually put back into a containment sleep until the future after X is completed and activated in the future.

We need to make this a game or even a anime

too awesome man congrats :) was heartbroken to see Dr´s Light grieving over Wily´s death, in the Archie comics it was shown that even after all their encounters, Wily and Light never desired for the other´s death

Zero then proceeded to take a 100 year nap and then repeat this until sigma socked him in his forehead gem

Profoundly deep & tragic, yet despite the dark tone it caries the spirit of the original game in the Mega Man X story, awesome, pure gold 10/10. But the main things is it might just be canon! :D

Miss Mello, your work on this is simply amazing. It puts quite a few animated series out there to shame. Your saying "I am very much in the early stages of learning this fine art of animation" is like Michelangelo saying the Sistine Chapel was just a proof of concept. Whatever form your work takes in the future, I hope you stick with it. You're a real pro.

MissMello, I am in love with the animation and the music. Not only does the animation itself hit hard, but the music only makes it even more sorrowful. This is very well done, 7 months spent well if I've ever seen it.

This actually inspired a fanfic of mine called "Zero Hour" written as a two-part finale to the cartoon. That being said, the cartoon would have had to tone this down a bit, although with Proto-Man's new personality, I'd like to see where they'd go with it.

In Megaman X 4 , Zero has flashbacks of Dr. Wily, he sees blood on his hands. he doesn't know his past. Something happened to him , because X has no knowledge of this either. Dr. Light (capsule hologram) doesn't even recollect these events or warns X. Even though this is fan made, I will say, I would guess......Zero spares Dr. Light (only him) or barely survives; at least something stopped zero from continuing his rampage. One man stopped him. That man was Sigma.

I feel that this would be a good way to end the classic series. Zero killing Wily upon activation, Bass being critically wounded, and what appears to be Rock and Blues' (the original Mega Man and Proto Man) deaths at the hands of Zero, which would lead Dr. Light to create Mega Man X (the series has never canonically addressed what happened to Rock), the Reploids, the Zero Virus, and the Mavericks and Sigma's reign of terror after he was infected while fighting Zero, going from a hero to the villain of the X series (the exceptions being X8 and Command Mission), which would lead into the tragedy that is the Zero series, the reconstruction that is the ZX series, and the adventures in the Legends series.

Hey I just wanted to say i just started getting into the Megaman and X series and I just wanted to say after learning important plot details in X4, it dose raises some questions on what happen to the original Mega man alot of fans made theories that Zero killed him but I think Capcon said no to it. But if they ever go back and decided to make a final Megaman game with him facing Zero and going down as a hero I believe this trailer is the pefect way how that game. This animation was extremely impressive well done you should feel proud. Mega Man 12: Nightfall

Excellent animation. Loved it! The only thing I could see improving is when it shows the robot Masters, it could do a remix of the stage start music. That's the only missed opportunity I could see. I didn't see anything else that could be improved. The choice of the instrument and the music sounds excellent. The animation also looks excellent. Edit: does it have a remix at that point? It sounds familiar. I'm not really sure, actually. This animation is truly a masterpiece.
