One of my all-time favorite tracks is the Mega Man 3 opening theme. :) I will *never* forget the first time I played this game and heard this track. So epic and awesome for its time...and still one of the best video game tracks I have ever heard. You did well man!

tigmo55 Every time I boot up MegaMan 3 on my NES, I just sit there at the title screen and let the theme roll.

Had to come back to listen to this again. I Have been going through a Megaman playthrough and was reminded of this video the instant I booted up 3.

I like this remix. A lot. Except, the picture in the video irritates me, because Megaman Starforce and Megaman Classic are two completely different series. But oh well.

+Matt Yan I have question how is mega man star force I have never played or seen and I'm to curios feal free to tell spoilers I don't really care because I don't want to see a entire lets play of a game that's like megaman battle network we'll I think it's like battle network
@MrZeSpy

Anthony Artero I personally really enjoyed Star Force, but I'll break it down to see if you will. First off, chances are if you didn't like Battle Network you're not going to like this game. They have a very similar feel with similar combat and collection systems. Let's take it piece by piece shall we? Story: The story in the first and third games is actually fairly well-written for a game aimed at children. The characters get a surprising amount of depth in the first game (though it's quickly flanderized in the second) and the characters' interactions are both believable and interesting. There are puns abound in both the character names and the dialogue, but all in all it's easily readable and comfortable to sit through. Geo is a genuinely fleshed out character compared to Battle Network's Lan with his daily antics eliciting many chuckles from yours truly. That said, he is more of the stereotypical hero archetype in the second and third game, but he remains one of the most interesting members of the cast throughout all of them. Graphics: Nothing stellar (no pun intended). The overworld graphics are about the same as the Battle Network franchise with Wave Holes replacing jack-in points. In battle, the 3-D graphics look a bit unpolished in the first two games (weird looking hair, clearly polygonal buster effects), but they're fixed up in the third. Combat: Here's where everyone starts raging most of the time. It's even more reflex based than Battle Network's and you only get up to six cards on screen with limits as to which cards you can pick at a time (these rules change between games). You're restricted to a 3x1 grid, so you can only move left and right. To compensate, you're given a shield function to allow you to block attacks that can't normally be dodged. As a result, judgment on whether to attack, dodge, or block is crucial to success. However, there are some attacks that can be neither dodged nor blocked, forcing you to attack the boss or incoming projectile instead. Many attacks of this kind as well as the plain unblockables are *fast*, resulting in the reflex based gameplay. However, the game as a whole is quite forgiving, none of the boss fights (aside from the bonus bosses) are particularly unbalanced (though you may need to retry a few times for the harder ones). That said, they aren't too easy either, resulting in a smooth difficulty curve. As for pre-battle, you get a thirty card limit just like Battle Network with the same limitations on Mega and Giga Class chips (which can of course be circumvented somewhat by programs). The biggest problem with this is the fact that in order to equip certain powers, you must have a bunch of real-life friends to grant them in the first game. In subsequent games you still need them to raise your Link Power to fulfill the ability cost requirements. Unfortunately, with Nintendo shutting down the DS's wi-fi function this is nearly impossible (though the game does provide you with a number of in-game bonuses in the form of the protagonist's friends). The silver lining of this system is that there is no risk for bugs and you don't have to wrestle with the Navi Customizer to get the abilities you want (but you're still limited by the aforementioned link power issue). Program Advances are shoved aside until the third game, with Galaxy Advances being primarily souped up versions of Normal, Mega, and Giga Class cards. There are a few combos that result in more powerful versions of Giga Cards from previous series though. The *really* base breaking part is the myriad amounts of horrendously powerful combos when used in tandem with the games' super modes. I won't go into them (they're easy to look up online), but they're the reason why many accuse the Star Force series of being too easy. All in all, the series has its flaws. However, despite the general reception it's been given (primarily by the bigoted single-track minds that can't enjoy both Battle Network and Star Force), it is a perfectly enjoyable trio of games. I personally spent many hours on the game and enjoyed every last minute of it, with the series easily staying in my top ten favorite franchise lists for the longest. I'd say give it a try, especially if you've enjoyed the Battle Network series. However, it is an RPG experience that is far from the mainstream games, so if you're looking for a sidescroller you're in the wrong place.

+Anthony Artero As Matt said, much Faster, and you are more restricted to movement, sorta, You have a simple 3 x 1 space to move in, and the total field is 5 x 3, so one less row then BN, now, you might think this obsoletes swords horribly, but thats where the MEGA-ATTACK comes in, you are able to lockon and just flash step into appropriate range(think how BeastOut's would move in position with a chip), between the small space, ability to guard, and MegaAttack, combat is often a fast spree of attacks flying back and forth, even Mets are faster then BN, two good examples(no names) are one where you have flames flying forward like AirManEXE's AirShooter(with requisite opening), or one where three obstacles fly forward, one is differently colored and can be bounced away by the buster, oh yea the Buster is awesome, its native mode is a Rapid Fire machine gun, and it charges automatically when not doing stuff As for my feels on the actual games, SF1 is rough around the edges, just like BN1(though not quite as bad), SF2 has a horrible core plot(the bonus chapter is actually quite neat) and an absurd encounter rate, the last two bosses of the main story are just BS, and the super forms is absurdly unbalanced, SF3 finally hits a good stride, the Super Forms are better then SF1, but not quite as stupid as SF2, the core super form system is pretty much the love child of NaviCrosses and Style Changes, this system also allows you to break the game rules over your knee, from acquiring Battle Cards you shouldn't be able to get(even things as absurd as Mega and Gigas from previous games, or things from the BONUS CHAPTERS of any of the games, though gaining Cards this way does not add them to your Library) to having Push and Pull reverse their effects and I-Frames not work

Man, I'm working towards being a game designer when I grow up and get successful, and if Nintendo hasn't bought Mega Man by then, I'll try. as a mega man super nerd I'm pretty sure I could do the series some justice. having played, dear god I'm almost out of games I just have ZX Advent left everything else I've beaten already, (In the chronological timeline, not like Battle Network or Starforce or the stupid soccer game) IK what players love about it, just give us 8 unique bosses, an awesome soundtrack, new weapons, great stage design, and an epic wily castle, it's been that way for the whole series, and we've loved it. Changing out new weapons, bosses, levels, and music makes it so we feel like we're playing more of the same series than just the same game over and over. I don't know if Capcom can release another Mega Man game with Inafune's resignment, and I think Mighty no.9 might have been the last nail in the coffin. (why something that explodes into two rings of explosions needs a coffin IDK but whatever XD) But if there's anything in my power I can do, I'll do it, best I can manage at the moment as a teenager still studying with about 3 yeas practice is make an 8 bit javascript or GML game that probably won't come close to the quality of the original. To really do the series justice I'd have to be better, like after I've learned a bit more.
@hakasek4052
@hakasek4052 8 лет назад
It's really just the slide function and ladders that's giving me problems mechanics wise and I'm not as good at level design and soundtrack as the rest of the series, that's the problem but if you want I can try anyway

I'd rather hold on to the account that I've had the most luck with, bro. 115 subs and counting each day, and you got... hmm... 2. Lol, that's totally what you get for making more than one account (I'm assuming that you did, 'cause you were hating on me for not doing so). Oh, and I should also mention that you can learn a lot in 2 years, and speaking of which, you sure don't look to have learned much, not properly capitalizing and all. Why don't we just shut up and listen to the good music, eh?
