The boss battle theme is amazing, it's like it was composed for an unreleased SNES era MMX game. It's that good.

With the original mavericks here, I really like how the boss room itself plays a higher factor to how you fight. That's just one of many things about the Mega Man X games that I felt they could evolve on, aside from X being able to shoot diagonally, was that the boss fights always took place in the same old boring room layout.

There were quite a few fights in the X series that had more unique boss rooms, but yeah Corrupted takes it to another level.

X only being able to shoot in 2 directions is part of the gameplay, you have to line up your shots. Playing an X game where you can aim in any direction is like playing a Guitar Hero game where a note counts if you hit the button in various different spots instead of just the one row at the bottom.

@@whirl3690 I doubt it'd make a serious change to the common X formula, seeing as most players would primarily shoot in the same 2 directions we've always been forced to in the past and you'd likely have to stay still in order to accurately hit a diagonal shot. They could maybe even lock it to a hidden arm part. We've already had armour parts do things like allow us to glide in previous games.

@@johannliebert2870 Standing still while firing and being required to have arm parts would not change a thing about what I said. It removes the requirement of lining up your shots using vertical movement.

that's the Unknown Boss Theme. It plays during boss battles on high difficulty classes, instead of the normal battle theme You can hear it on Dominic Ninmark's channel, the composer of the game

I'm a huge fan of all Megaman X games and this one looks awesome, I'm just glad the makers of this game FINALLY gave X the ability to duck, after playing other X games, it was frustrating that you had to dash under things to avoid getting hit,(especially considering that in X1 you can't dash at all untill you get the leg upgrade). So the ducking is a huge help in my opinion.👍 Awesome video BTW. 😎

My god, how I have NEVER heard of this masterpiece?! I was halfway the video, and I was like "Waw, amazing boss fights, seems so hard and exciting. What megaman is this? I don't remember playing it" - to later search and discover it is FAN-MADE!! I have to stop watching now, to not get any spoilers. PROCEED TO DOWNLOAD!!

Morph Moth tá TÃO mais balanceado nessa versão que parece até que esse é o original e o original é o fangame! Sempre detestei a forma que esse ataque 25:08 continua incessantemente no original. Aqui ele foi corrigido pra ser usado em intervalos. Muito melhor!! O mesmo pra esse ataque 25:15 ter que ficar rodando em círculos ao redor do boss é um pesadelo! Agora só dar dano que ele dá uma pausa. Infinitamente melhor!!! Esse jogo tá ficando uma delícia! Mal posso esperar pra sair!!

This game looks great, just like Megaman: Maverick Hunter X. I love the Megaman X franchise, and I love the collection of ”animal reploids”, like Chill Penguin, Flame Mammoth, Boomerang Kuwanger, Sting Chameleon, Spark Mandrill, Storm Eagle, Armored Armadillo, Launch Octopus, all animal reploids for bosses that you face in this video, and every other animal reploid from all other Megaman X games. That’s a great collection, just like the robots from the Megaman (without X) franchise whose names all end with ”man”, and the 625 experiments from the Lilo & Stitch series.

JKB Games > Capcom. Hardcore, passionate and skilled fans understand why we fell in love with the games in the first place. Thus, they are the ones who should be tasked to create the games that honor and respect the source material faithfully. If Mega Man X9 were ever to be a thing, i wouldn't want Capcom anywhere near it. Clearly, X Dive is where they want to take the series, which is the opposite where this series should go.

i really like how the dynamic of the boss fights relies more on the room and movement. it would be nice to see the players combat options improved over the original flavor, like some kind of block ability would be nice for half damage, or fixing the fact that both zero and x have busters and sabers now and they dont have to be so rigid in how the move list goes. maybe a customization in move combos? mixing and matching armors for both characters would be amazing as well.

All of the unique bosses are super cool, but hands down my favorite is Warfare Milodon. I loved Burn Dinorex and Wheel Gator, and Milodon has a feel like them and Launch Octopus. Very well designed boss, and Plasma Puffer is a close second.

This game excels in gameplay/movement. The writing is good too! My criticism is that it takes itself too seriously. But that isnt saying much compared to the movie-esque action.

well not all bosses.. we haven't seen corruptors or the other side boss besides strike.. and also an extra boss(rainy turtloid) from x6 is added too if i'm not wrong but i'm sure i have seen it on the site.
