If you defeat Homing Octopus and then go to Sting Chameleon stage, it will be full of water If you defeat Chill Penguin before Flame Mamooth stage, the lava will cool down
Megeman X had the best music and sound out of all the games IMO. I remember playing X2, X3, and even X4 on the Playstation and none of them could capture the same high-energy vibe that the original MMX did. Even after I mastered everything I could replay MMX all day long just running the stages to the music. Even the blaster sounded the best - the closer you are to the enemy the faster you could shoot since the game would cap you at 3-shot bursts if you were farther away. It was so satisfying to stand right next to a bigger enemy and just mash on the button as fast as possible to upload normal blaster shots at them. I used to do that to Vile in his invincible mecha suit during the intro stage just for fun and to see how long I could last before "losing".
To know in hindsight that this was one of the nicer and more noble reploids before going maverick honestly makes me wish we spent more time getting to know the dude. Just what a kickass boss that I always look forward to
eu joguei na video locadora quando o jogo era lançamento... cara a locadora estava lotada de gente querendo jogar.... Tempos bons de mega drive e super nintendo.
Oh my god the song is so good I can't believe how good it is it's the best song in Mega Man x this is the first best one and I remember playing the level it was so hard but now I can beat it
The soaring shredding quality of this track sets off not only the boss's theme but the whole musical underpinning of the game. What a legend. Always my 1st destination.
When playing Megaman X, I did not go in order. After I beat Chill Penguin, he was the second boss I fought.( A tip for fighting Storm Eagle 2nd , every fan is probably aware that if you fight storm eagle as you're second boss, it makes it that much easier to get to Spark Mandrill) Just for advice to those who was not aware. Although you do not have to fight storm eagle second, it was just easier for me this way.
Kloforia Foxy I do not go in order either. I fight Chill Penguin first. Get the head parts from storm eagle. Then the arm parts in Flame Mammoth stage and use storm tornado. You need the head parts anyway for the arm parts. Then I fight sting chameleon after getting the armor. After I get all four parts I fight spark mandrill and continue in order.
@@kloforiafoxy2702 yeah thats right i enjoy playing megaman x so much and i usually do challenge like only use the x buster or just the habilities of the bosses.
@@manuelsruido4532 yep.😊 That's especially what I love about this series; trying many different techniques as well. Also, it makes gameplay a little bit manageable. Had a little trouble with boomer kuwanger but once I figured out a strategy, with a little time and patience I managed to defeat him.
His stage : an airport. Hus weapon : Storm Wave. His weak point : Chameleon Sting. Storm : Character in X-Men. Eagle : Fighter in Street Fighter Fighter in Savage Reign.
This game definitely taught a lot of kids what a FUN videogame should be. This game is not a masterpiece by any means (debatable for some), but game design wise? THIS is the quintessential game. Everything is taught by gameplay, the stages have a philosophy where they put chunks of enemy placements in between paths so the challenge was periodic, the platforming is tenacious but always possible, the movement is MUAH, BEAUTIFUL. And the music ALWAYS keeps you on edge. It’s a soundtrack that is basically saying “your foes are strong but you’re freaking MEGAMAN, YOU'RE STRONG TOO!” That’s without taking into account the numerous details like one stage affecting another upon completion, stuff like cutting some maverick’s limbs if you use cutter weapons and thus hinder their movesets (sort of like how it works in Monster Hunter, another Capcom game). Megaman X is a game everyone needs to experience at least once to either find out they're not into platformers/videogames of this type or to find their new favorite here.
storm eagle es mi personaje favorito, sobre todo por su dise;o aunque si hablamos de musica queda en segundo lugar, el primero se lo queda el de flame stag
Storm Eagle's stage is the main stage I Point to when I argue about this game being the best X game. This stage is just so memorable, every setpiece clicks with the player instantly, every enemy feels deliberately placed to be fun to shoot, the items are hidden in clever, but memorable locations, you really don't appreciate X1's level design until you play later games, see, X2 X3 X4 and even X5 are all various levels of fantastic, but none of them feel as fun as X1 to me for some reason, when I look at X3, I can't help but say that those levels were well designed, and yet, i haven't memorised every sub tank placement, every heart tank placement or even the general layout of the level unless I play them, if you tell me "do you know where the sub tank in storm Eagle's stage is?" I'd immediately say "it's above the second control tower in the section with the flying platforms", making a game, in a series so memorable to the point where after playing games in that series non stop for 2 months to the point that some of them start blending together, the player still remembers the item placement and layout of every level by simply thinking about them is no small feat, Megaman games aren't like mario games, where each one is distinct from one another, if ask me the layout of donut plains 1, I could describe every single coin placement in the level, but that's only because there's no other game that really plays like Super Mario world, and that goes for all mario games *insert funny joke about Nintendo recycling New super Mario Bros wii 3 times in a row and making games that blend in with each other* , Megaman games are different, maybe it's just because I've gotten into the series recently, but all games are similar to each other, that isn't a complaint thought, Capcom really figured out a perfect formula for a platformer with satisfying gameplay, the best way to know it is to look at Megaman X6, on the surface that game is fucking atrocious, it has some of the worst level design I've ever seen, and yet it's still fun sometimes, why? Because the Megaman X gameplay is just that good, but sometimes when you play a ton of Megaman games back to back and are new to the series (like me) they sometimes blend in with past or future games, even if they are great (case and point, the Megaman Zero games, i sometimes confuse stages from MMZ2 with 3 even if I really like those games) but that literally never happened with X1, because the levels are just perfectly designed to not only be memorable, but be incredibly fun as well. I feel like I can't even put it in words how... Perfect X1's level design is. And this level is the epitome of that, best level in the entire game in my opinion.
If I ever had an Eagle as a pet, I would train it with this music and the first thing I would do would be to put a camera on its head in a way that it would not feel uncomfortable when putting the camera on it and then start looking at the world with the camera. looking at the beautiful landscapes with the blue sky, just like the game... although that is... as long as I don't gouge out my eyes first... Everything will be fine...
