I love how the HP Bar logo goes from R for Repliforce to KB for Knot Beret, the moment KB defeats Colonel.

If X and Zero are the final bosses that would be awsome!

I love this small detail on the heatlh bar changing after the intro stage which implies that K.B. left the Repliforce.

I can't imagine K.B. riding a ride chaser. (Jet Stingren stage.)

That's incredible, I can't wait to see this game finished, I always wanted to see some MMX4 mods and fangames but most fangames use the SNES sprites, I'd love to see more people using the X4 - X6 sprites.

Gotta love perspective flip games where you play as the bad guy/mook.

It would be cool to see X5/X6 bosses in this too; and custom sprites exist for Vile, Alia, and others in X4 style.

Super cool! It even makes sense that the stage would look different since it takes place on a train where cargo and railcars can change.

Finally a Slash Beast thats actually challenging

This is turning the Axe Armor mode (a joke mode) for Megaman into a Julius mode (a what if)

3:33 尖刺列車的小王被跳過了QQ 那些尖刺理論上可以躲掉，然後跟原板一樣趁尖刺伸出來時對內部攻擊。 不過對於沒辦法爬牆，而且跳不上車頂的小兵來說 列車頂上的小炮真的無解 除非額名做一個平台給他跳 所以Skip掉這隻小王也無可厚非

This is seriously so cool! I'm definitely subbing so that I can keep track of your progress with this awesome project . . . just out of curiosity, what made you want to undertake this fangame? When making a fangame, I would expect someone to add faster and stronger characters--but you added one of the fat and goofy robots instead XD personally, I think this game is really awesome and unique. can't wait to see what else comes out of this project!

tried the new update, this time, the second act of sky lagoon is less laggier so you can make it to 60% of the stage up to the colonel fight, it starts to lag there. But overall, a significant upgrade! The Slash Beast stage also suffers the same issue with act 2 lagoon, but this one seems manageable if you manage to bomb the carts, so the game unloads it from the stage, ended with moderate frames when i did that I noticed the KB logo (a nice detail, quite easy to miss the first time) and the hidden heart in Slash Beast's Act 1, is there a way you can obtain this heart? I only got it through nova strike (which funnily enough, levitated the box hiding the heart; it also works too); i presume it might involve using bombs on the blue box. But does that mean KB can become durable through Heart Tanks throughout the stages? and will there be a stage select once all 8 mavericks are completed?

I hate slash beast so much!

Nice to see the hitboxes improved in this current build. Another suggestion I can leave, mostly for the finishing touches, a friend of mine who also works on a fangame also been discovering AI that can render spritework similar to other games in pixel art. If you prefer to add mugshots for boss conversations perhaps it can generate more accurate depictions of the artstyle used if you want mugshots for characters like Magma Dragoon or Slash Beast to be in a similar style to the one used on the existing characters. Even they make them in an angle that animating blinking eyes and talking mouths around 3-4 animation frames each piece isn't much of a problem and saves a lot of trouble if you lack the contact, resources and time to find a talent that works in pixel art and sprite animations. Or you can grab the existing image you used, frame it to fit into the potrait and trace the line with the same pixel hex colors as the other potraits to make it fitting, it may also work.

Lorewise, why is KnotBeret rebelling against Repliforce? What is his goal?
