I always thought the original Cannonball from the actual game was a bit underwhelming considering some other songs from the same game were a lot more hard sounding (Old life space and Volcano)
I've wanted to hear this for so long. Amazing, that's all I can really say about it. The OST version just doesn't sound complete without the verse at 1:14. It's such a great riff and it's a shame that so many people who played the games never heard it. Only thing left is a version that combines Mythos and Resonnant Vie - that might be the apotheosis of this song.
(Omega Zero defeated) Omega: Gaaahhh… aaargh!!!! Eiyaaaah! (Omega Zero begins to glow with power) Weil: I believe Omega here was just holding back his true power. Now behold, the awakening of his true self!!! (Omega Zero awakens) Awakened Omega: I am the true messiah! The messiah! Zero: No, this can’t be! (Fight starts again) Zero defeated Ciel: ZEROOOOOOO!!! Weil: All hope is lost for you, human! The Mavericks will rise again… under my command! Awakened Omega: Hahahahaha!!!! Die! (Awakened Omega defeated/bisected) Awakened Omega: !!!! Aaaaargh!!! Iris… what was I fighting for? Zero: Don’t take her name in vain, foul beast. (Awakened Omega explodes)
I need an extended version of this *ASAP!* This is amazingly well done & the definitive version of cannonball as far as I'm concerned. I tip my hat to the creator.
holy crap this is great, putting this into a z3 rom with a mythos zero skin and omega zero boss difficulty mod would be absolutely hype as hell. very well done!
>omega zero boss difficulty mod Not that he is an extremely hard boss, but I don't think he is easy either. All that he needs is the health regen from ZX, and he is a lot more challenging.
@@guilhermerdgs11 ZX added more than just the health regen. The 7 hit combo could be used whenever and not just at low health (Granted in Z3, it was an EX attack, so you had to be A or S rank to see it) AND the delay between attack sets was removed.
@@NoNameAtAll11 Don't forget that it also gradually reduced knockback that he takes from your hits, to the point where it takes a while before you can make him flinch. I think him constantly being knocked away on almost every single hit in Z3 is what made the fight so easy to manipulate and beat.
I kinda wish the intense beats of the song from 0:42 to 0:55 in the original song were still here. that would make this even better. every single remix of this song is always missing those intense beats from that part of the song for some reason
