The new Megamind movie, "Megamind vs The Doom Syndicate" is a terrible movie, and an even worse sequel. In this video, I covered everything wrong with it. follow my Twitter: / jedwerd_ #Jedwerd #Megamind #Dreamworks
After all these years we finally know what happened to Sid after he was last seen in Toy Story 3 as a humble garbage man. He became a Star Wars youtuber
*watches the first 26 seconds of the trailer* *proceeds to spiral into a state of madness about how that trash could be a megamind sequel* W Jedwerd L megamind sequel
This would only make sense as a series.. I mean if this is a movie then there would be a good graphic or something but with a graphic like this... It looks like Baby Boss back in business series
You know in Fairly Odd Parents when Timmy would wish for something and then it would backfire somehow. We’re living in the reality where Timmy wished for Megamind 2
Unpopular opinion: i actually like the animation styel i know i saw the errors like the tennis ball but i still like the animation style everything else trash
first off, #Baldwerd. Second, Dreamworks might as well have not even made this piece of trash. This makes the star wars sequel trilogy look like a masterpiece.
Honestly, I'm just blaming all the fans who hyped up the Last Wish so much. So many shorts were comparing the film to Disney films, even classics, and saying it was better. This probably gave Dreamworks a false sense of security to do whatever the hell they wanted. Not saying Dreamworks isn't at fault or blaming all the fans entirely. I'm just blaming all those braindead RU-vid shorts.
Here's something I would have done if I was given the task to make a megamind sequel first things first I would re-watch the original film 2 to 3 different times so I can get a really good grasp on what the concept of megamind is about Then I would bring in the Doom syndicate into the sequel but give them a new origin story making the megamind video game not canon to the franchise at all which is perfectly fine since nobody really played it or cared about it Possibly give them new designs to make them more intimidating as villains And give them a new origin story an origin story that could be as simple as this One of the members of the Doom syndicate could be a scientist while other folks could be random civilians who happen to have gotten power similar to that of what we see in the actual sequel itself but they actually look interesting The first try to use their powers to mess with megamind and then they tried to take it a step further of trying to take over the city and possibly the entire world and megamind and his new crew have to stop him For that girl character who's meant to be a sidekick I do one of two things either write her out of the story entirely or try to make her either be a parody of the sidekick archetype while also making her an interesting character in her own right that makes her worthy of being part of this new team megamind tries to form with her and Roxanne along with minion speaking of him I would also have him keep his name Another thing I would do is that if I want to make it as a sequel where it expands upon the themes and ideas that the first film did I would take the themes of the first film did and expand on them without contradicting the original themes and characterizations of how the characters were in the first movie (basically not pulling a Toy story 4) I will expand upon its themes and ideas that the original film had did without making the characters feel out of character or without retreading the same ground That is probably what I would do if I were to be given the task of making a true megamind sequel it probably won't be perfect but it'll at least be something Even if I wouldn't have the budget of the first movie to work on a project like this I would at least put some form of care into it as not only a standalone movie but as a true sequel to megamind if I were to be given that task I hope you had the time to read this and I hope you guys really liked what I have to say 😁
