So here is an alternative solve strategy for the megamorphix that eliminates all parities! All you need is the corner swapping algorithm of R2 U R2 Ui R2 Ui D R2 Ui R2 U R2,
as well as a simple Ri Di R D
That, and a simple 2x2 solve gives you a corners only strategy by reducing this from a 4x4 to a 2x2, and eliminates any parity problems from reduction. Enjoy!

I could be wrong, but I think I have been tricked! After watching this video, something clicked in my brain, and my mind was blown. I watched and learned your tutorial on the 2x4x6. Ive never known how to solve AI cubes, but I realized just now I could. +SuperAntoniovivaldi, you have got me again! Thanks a lot good sir.

Thank you Nihilus for asking your question about the term "false equivocation" versus "false equation". I had the same confusion so thanks Antoiniovivaldi for clarifying what you mean. I understood that the term "equivocation" by definition means a false equation, a fallacy, an equation that is not real. So the use of the term "false equivocation" is redundant, like a double negative. So it twisted my brain for a minute until I simply translated Antonio's term in my head to "equivocation" or "false equivalence". The bottom line is just figure out what his is DOING and solve our cubes that we cannot solve on our own. Certain people make a world of difference!! Antonio, you are one of those FEW!!! Much gratitude on behalf of all of us who are cube challenged.

I’ve solved the most complex puzzles with your brain excellent tutorials, always awesome and very much appreciated!!! For some reason this puzzle is giving me problems, it would be great if could slow down a little with this one like you did with 4x4x6 which your tutorial on that one was epic. Of course I’m impatient and want to solve I NOW but I’ve been working on it for 2 days now. If you get some extra time ;)~ perhaps you can do another on this one or I’ll just try to watch it in slow motion. Thanks very much for your tutorials 🤘

When you say false equivocation, don't you mean false equation. Equivocation is defined as the use of ambiguous language to conceal the truth or to avoid committing oneself; prevarication. This isn't the same as equating.

+WidardCubes Good point. When talking about false equivocation, I'm referring more to the informal fallacy of false equivocation, which in the semantic form refers to the ambiguous nature of a term that can be used in two different ways. Like light as in the light from the sun, and light as in the opposite of heavy. In puzzles, the fallacy is more of an analogy to that, where instead of a word, a puzzle piece can be applied in different positions and rotations and appears equivalent Because it looks the same, as the ambiguous word does, it is believed it can be used the same way. Just as the logic breaks down with false equivocation in an argument, so too does the solve break down in a puzzle. I talk about translational and rotational equivalence when referring to the ambiguous piece or pieces, and how it can lead to false equivocation. You can also refer to it as the fallacy of false equivalence, or whichever you prefer. I look at equivocation as something that involves the argument, or the puzzle, as a whole, and equivalence as the particular word, or puzzle piece. Good question!
