I never saw Hodge play and I'm sorry for her injury, but no way is there ANY womens volleyball team anywhere in the WORLD Samantha Bricio is a bench warmer. No team anywhere has 6 players better than Bricio. 3X ALL-AMERICAN. She''s as graceful as a leopard, hits as hard as most men, and can drop her serve on a dime anywhere on the court. I don't know the circumstances of why she was on the bench, but She's My #1.
The unfortunate thing is she never plays international competitions with Italy, Turkey (I think she played with them?), or Russia, and now China, but always with Mexico where her talents and exhibitions are wasted and most don't pay attention to her because of that. If she were able to play with the teams I mentioned above at Worlds or Olympics, she would be recognized and shine. However; have you actually ever watched men's volleyball? No professional girl will ever hit as hard.
@@markuse3472 usually, international games aren’t the best to measure a player’s talent. Samantha had a comparable college career as Megan. Samantha has practically played her whole pro career in three of the best euro leagues. Champion in two them. She was the MVP in one championship game. Megan is currently playing in Brazil. Just because her national team is not a world contender, it doesn’t take away her individual skills. Her individual achievements are world class.
