Absolutely beautiful. So tragic that Megan had to end this run with that terrible wigx though. She went through like 3 wig changes in her time and this was honestly the worst. Looks like blond Annie lol. Truly love these two so much though. They were my first ever wicked pair and will always be my favorite.
Haha oof ain’t that the truth. There have been some bad ones all thru Wicked’s existence. The worst one being Kristin Chenoweth’s out of town bubble gown wig. Second worst was Katie Rose Clarke’s Shirley Temple looking wig for the first National tour. Also… nit pick… never liked the broad collars like Megan’s here for the Glinda gown.
I hadn't thought about it, but I agree. I think changing the line to "let's go" or "time to go", or even "ready?" would be better, and the sentiment would stay the same or it'd even add to it.
There was more anger that went into turning Boq into the tin man. Nessa wanted to trap him with her, but ended up almost killing him by shrinking his heart. Elphaba saved him by turning him into a tin man, and Boq and Nessa weren’t expecting that. Fiyero was almost killed by the other guards, so Elphaba was more frantic in trying to save him and was just grateful to see him alive.
The endings of shows is always sad, but Wicked is always extra because the characters actually leave, so for the actors to say lines like "because I knew you, I have been changed for good" and "we can ever come back to Oz, can we?" Is just so sad 😭😭😭
@@tessaokeefe9866 They did not leave the same day on Broadway. Shoshana was already midway thru her run when Megan became lead after Jennifer Laura Thompson left. Similarly, once Shoshana left, Megan was only halfway thru her run. Eden Espinosa replaced Shoshana and ran with Megan until Megan left.
@@mrbroadwaydork this is broadway. there is no known footage of Shoshana and Megan's last show on tour, and Fiyero here is David Ayers, who went alongside Shoshana and Megan solely on Broadway.
I adore shoshana and think she is amazing but I think this is EXTREMELY unprofessional and very unfair to people who were seeing the show for the first time
there was nothing wrong with that at all...even people who were seeing the show for the first time probably knew it was her last...and any time a cast member especially Elphaba or Glinda is leaving they ALWAYS add something extra to the show. Majority if not all Wicked fans enjoy it. Stop nitpicking
BrUh oF those little hand signs were so bad then what about Kristin’s last show where she didn’t follow her script and read her own book? Exactly. The audience knew it was her last show. It’s supposed to be made special for them. And it’s live theater people break character ALL the time
