Joe is really upsetting me with this podcast. It's almost like he really did not take the time to actually listen and understand all of the things Megan has said before attempting to make his points. Megan was extremely clear in all of her reasonings and she does not have to file an official police report for the BS to be real. If Joe is as smart as he portray himself to be he would know that many victims don't always come forward immediately after something has happened to them. MOST PEOPLE don't want to feel like a victim so they try to move on with their lives and put the situation behind them in a way to remove it from their psyche. Everyone reacts differently. She's someone who enjoys the upside of life and was trying desperately to go back to her happy space but there are constant daily reminders of why she can't go back. Lawyers only ENFORCE(keyword) you not to talk when what you say is incriminating or have CHARGES against YOU still pending. The lawyer will rarely enforce the victim not to say anything. Those rare times would be for example when the lawyer doesn't trust the victim to be well spoken(so-to-speak) enough to go into detail outside of the courtroom or without them(lawyer) being present. Now in cases where there's a possibility of a settlement lawyers could ask you to talk more or less.
