That was great. It was fantastic to see a Boss that actually had a chance of winning instead of just dying slowly to the rest. It was hard to count so I can't be sure, but it felt like the colors had more marbles by the end. I'd love to see it so that from start to finish both sides have the exact same number of marbles. Example, there are 8 colors so the Boss has 8 marbles, and when one of the colors dies a different color gets their marble so it's still 8 vs 8.
I really enjoyed how Blue was the first one to get everything in his hands, than Purple helped him, and at the end Red finally was able to support them too (Also Blue saved the Yellow marks from his fella neighbor who died too early, true Hero of this strange simulation)
It was nice that the shields weren’t instantly depleted this time whenever they were hit with a large attack. You’ve definitely refined this quite a bit
White didn’t stand a chance? They were pixels away of taking two participants away in 9:13 not to mention one of their big shots missed red at 3k a few minutes earlier.

Pink is a real unsung hero here. With their death marble, they actually SAVED purple by blocking the white marble from hitting its unshielded blaster, allowing them the time they needed to reinforce and get a shield. If not for that heroic act, it would have been 2v1 in the end instead of 3v1.
And in return purple saved the pink marks. Unfortunately all three couldn't save cyan marks fully and from cyan left mere pixels. But he was there, he always was.
As red was holding onto his dear life, and came the realisation that he wouldn't last much longer, he tried to at least buy the time so other could finish this horror. And they did

Maybe different colors being able to feed each others' charged shots was too op, but white still stood a chance with fast wipeouts at the start, too bad the 4 mil shield was just a second away
I really liked how it seemed like the boss had a MASSIVE head start in the beginning. Those 1 million burst shots turned out to be very useful for white. Most members of the color team were eliminated in the first few minutes, and although white looked like they had a crazy head start, [SPOILER ALERT IN NEXT SECTION] White still lost. 13:26 White was about to bounce into the shield and gain 4 million shield points but it was a little too late. If only white had a second or two, this would have changed a lot.
Also, I really like this video since it is the boss battle but megapixel, I really like the idea, especially when one of the remaining survivors die to the boss’s shot when it dies. I am really on pins on needles EVEN if the boss has been defeated. Keep up the great work Lost Marbles!
If White buys itself more time, that's not exactly a beneficial move. The fact they even would've been so close to dying would be a sign that they had little to no chance of winning. After all, they never gain any power, while their enemies are growing stronger and stronger.
So the 1mil bullets at the beginning is something for the marbles to act fast and hastily build up a strong shield instead of charging an insane attack up?
I was really rooting for white once I saw that the number of color balls go up and white stays the same. Also the gravity here was way to strong in my taste, as soon as a black hole was on screen it took over the entire board, even a small one. In a small board like this we need a smaller gravity constant. Also even tiny shields weren't taken out by huge balls which benefitted the colors since white is in the middle so it's easier to mass attack with the gravity, while white was almost unable to destroy anything once the beginning passed.
I feel like there needs to be a fire rate increase proportional to the number of spread shots lined up. Once purple got to 5 million it just got excessive since it was never going to be able to fire that many. I feel like that also contributed to why spread shots scales so much worse than mega shot. But if the fire rate was proportional to the number of shots in the chamber it would make large numbers landing in spread shot feel like less of a waste.
It does. But if making it too proportional it means a player just wins instantly if they get a very large number, compared with getting a large charged shot doesn't mean you win instantly. So I set the balance such that it does scale up, but slowly enough that the player doesn't simply win immediately.
Kinda a spoiler Blue is the tank and Purple is the main attackers, while Red is a stand in jojo part 4 (activate on death) The others are dead (some are lucky enough to have their marks kept on the map)
blue and purple won, but at what cost? rest in peace to all soldiers, and especially the hero, red, who fought off white until the end, and who's big shots that carried the team even after his death. they will all be missed....
I feel it's kinda weird that whenever the... uh... characters, I guess, in these videos, are given pronouns, they're always male. Giving them pronouns at all is weird too, of course. But, eh. You do you.

When Imagine such a boss as a country. The 8 players are another country. Imagine you as one of them. When you have prepared for war, chances are, it has already took control of at least 3 major cities.

That's something not many people seem to have noticed. Green basically saved Purple. Like, Purple only had 33 HP left. Had that shield not been there, Purple would've almost certainly died.
You should try uploading these in 4K, it'l help with seeing what going on. Also maybe putting an indicator as to where the view being the left part is.
pls make new boss fight abilities like the boss being able to change other colored balls currently moving if its like about 10x bigger than it into its own color
