Hurricanes and severe storms are very rare. The most significant one was sandy, but we've never had something similar before or after. It's not like Florida.
Very informative. But: the speed of the cuts is maddening and completely unneccesary, chatting-up to zeitgeist. And why the ultrawide format which is used in cinema projection? It's simply a loss of information by cutting the picture above and below, because none of the footage originally was shot in this format.
It's NOT the whims of the climate! It's the whims of a pesky creature that's us!! We are to blame for the incoming catastrophes, it's not 'the weather, FCS!
This constant mantra of "rising sea levels" is so annoying. The ocean's levels are clearly the same as they have been for hundreds of years. Its obvious when we compare photographic records of sea side structures. Yes, some areas like Venice are SINKING - but that is also well documented. While we should always work to mitigate the affects of storms and the other natural cyclical climate change items, we don't need to give in to fear.
I have yet to seen the water rise buy a millimeter it has been the same for hundreds of years but if it goes up 50 ft in 12 years we won't have to worry about widding Panama Canal
