I've been waiting impatiently for this video. Slowly the gaps in the story are being filled in. Everything is so tight now - 4 or 5 seconds lost before the dirt road at 3mins has a high cost to recover, but it's still the big climb at 14 mins which decides everything. Bravo! You're all winners
I watched both this video and Kilian's at the same time, on two 4k monitors side by side... That was one hell of a ride! Congrats to both, what an amazing race it was despite the weather!
It's a mystery. Googled but can't find any reference. He's missing from the quali results too. Can only speculate people are holding off any statements due to possible legal consequences.
@@simonharling6234 Same. No info to be found online anywhere. The organizers should at least have made a short statement and said they would be back with details later, or just have said he is removed for reasons not to be shared. This is very disrespectful to fans and other riders that competed.
Who knows at this point, since no one, not even the event organizers say anything about why Hugo, the guy who crossed the line first, has been completely removed from the event. Start list, quali and main race. If they want wild speculations, this is the way to do it I guess.... Ban the winner and stay silent on the reason why.
Great! Now we can see your perspective also on Kilian Bron's race as he mentioned you a lot there: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7z_rN4p2Vm0.html
they had great weather for preliminary rounds and everything was supposed to take place as usual, without change. But apparently there was a big storm a day before competition, lots of rain, and going down the glacier was too risky. So decision was made to change a part of the track.
@@-esox-3714I'm always impressed by how Kilian can do that, without slowing down nor crashing. Even though I wish others also did it, I try to think positively, a bit of dirt on the screen adds realism.
