Awards in US can be bought! Hundreds of meaningless awards are created for organisations and companies, individuals to participate and of course you have to purchase the seat(s) or tables at a specific sum. There is definately a ‘horse trading’ behind the scenes between Nutmeg’s PR firm and the organiser. Too bad ESPN has fallen into such standard and category. Also, Pat Tillman's mother does not administer the award. It is the creation of ESPN a Disney/ABC unit. The mistake was not consulting her first.

Honor. Duty. Responsibility. Gratitude. Honesty. Commitment. Selflessness. Pat Tillman represented all of these. Harry represents none. Is the world finally seeing that these awards are worthless? With recipients such as Harry, you cannot represent they have value and are just a way to generate attention. In this case, negative. The part I can’t stand is that the name of such an honorable man is mixed up with a such a creep. I wish the audience would shun him by turning their backs when he’s handed the thing, but they are all complicit.
