That's complete bs. You can't get kicked out of a public school. It's a parent choice e to withdraw their child or modify their schedule so that they do not attend the full day.

@moderator7169 That's impossible when when your child is 4. Public schools cannot even suspend a child before 3rd grade especially if they have a disability.

Every child is entitled to a free and appropriate education by law. School districts offer education in an alternate placement for students that are expelled from their home campuses.

She said her kid got kicked out of public school, which is highly unlikelyfor a 4 year old. Also the school district has to approve an aide or HIP. You don't just get a personal aide for your child because they qualify for special education.

@@chernandez9827 almost all kiddos with CP with combined behavioral issues at a very young age, like her son, get approved for an aide. I know how it works. My son had an aids until middle school.

This comes off as so distasteful. Disabled kids go under the radar in education for many reasons including how expensive and time consuming it can be. And she doesn’t want to pay $44 an hr so her disabled child can get the accessible education they need from some who knows they’re doing? 🙄 Cool.
