He wouldn't have been given a title back then unless he was in the direct line of succession (i.e. one of William's children). If they really wanted a title for their child, then all they had to do was wait patiently for Charles to become King, instead of making a fuss about their children being denied titles because they weren't white. That was so blatantly untrue. Even the normal public knew that great-grandchildren of the reigning monarch didn't get titles, then how could Harry, who is a part of the institution as you say, have no clue of that little fact?
