Meghan Markle's Desperate Attempt to Rebrand with Variety After Disastrous Interview in The Cut

It's surprising she had a melt down over being called a 'diva', when it is so much nicer than what most people call her.

Let's not forget that before the Queen died, around the time of the Cut interview, she sent a veiled threat to Prince Charles, now King Charles, saying that she did not sign an NDA when she married into the Royal family and thus she could say anything. And on another note, I checked the article, and she managed never to say the name of her own husband, as if he is a non-entity.

This woman has had more reinventions in four years, than Madonna has had in four decades.

The late Queen Elizabeth had to dodge Meghan's mudslinging and badmouthing right up to her death in September. And don't forget that in June Meghan and Harry left town BEFORE the Queen's jubilee celebrations had ended. Unforgiveable.

Two things: 1- Megan this damage control is obvious and you can’t change who you are at the core. 2- you think the public can’t think for themselves: Megan, WE the public are not stupid.

I find it silly to despise a person I do not know personally but my God this woman makes it hard not to have an immediate negative response to her personality.

Harry has given up everything for that woman - his relationships with his father, his brother and his beloved grandparents, as well as his extended family; his job; his home; his country; his reputation, everything. I actually loved The Cut interview. I caught the fact that the author was not eating the meal that Meghan was trying to feed her and was walking a fine line between puffing her up and telling it like it is.

When truly grieving, we focus on family and meaningful moments. We don't fume over whether "Our BRAND is tanking!" We don't engage in "rebranding" because "We cannot COMPETE with "the" royals anymore! We could barely get through the funeral; we were MALIGNED the entire time!" Branding (labeling) your family, competing (comparing to everyone else in the family), will result in being maligned. Evidently, your "rebranding" effort isn't working because you have no sense of loyalty to your peoples.

The issue telling Markle to be herself is she likely lost any value of what herself is unless it’s unhinged and narcissistic. Her whole life she kept changing her character to fit any person she was trying to gain favor of, but she never remained grounded.

They turned down 2 invites to see the Queen in the weeks leading to her death and then she has the gall to talk about how she admired her and how she had such an amazing relationship with her. I have found it really heartbreaking to see how she has treated her father and siblings. For people who really have lost their parent(s) it is difficult to see. He seems very pleasant and not deserving being "ghosted". Having disagreements is normal, but being angry this amount of time without much of a reason it looks like is pretty bad. .

It comes across as so distasteful but it is a good insight to how she really feels. Obvious how she never liked the Royal family and her own husband for that reason. The weirdest part, IMO, about the Sussex statement on the Queen’s passing was this: “but my husband, ever the optimist, said ‘now she’s reunited with her husband’.” Weird way to publicly speculate on the afterlives of your grandparents.

I am 76, and can still remember French from school. I’d say that I can communicate, but I can’t converse. Meghan at 41 can’t remember a word? Her memory must be shot, which I guess explains all the recollections that have varied.

My favorite part of the Variety interview was to see her nose. I thought her recent nose job had been an improvement on the one she got during their 6 week break, but now I see it looks long and strange. So happy! I have followed her nose stuff all along.

M has no empathy. I shudder to think how she became this way. The early photos of her as a young girl (10 years old) reveals a child without any ability to self regulate emotions. She has a lot of rage. I feel sorry for her children right now. The children need to return to UK. In my opinion, the Royal family is playing the long game. She also always refers to Harry as "my husband". As HG Tudor said in his video, this reflects that she sees him as her possession. She can't just refer to him as "Harry". It's like he has no identity.

What I've noticed in this last week's rebranding scheme is she never called Harry by his name. She always says my husband. She refers herself to a mother in several statements. The problem with MM is that she is not authentic. If you were watching her Variety interview for the first time you might initially think oh she's nice enough, until you pick it apart, it's too sweet, too Pollyanna, it's not real, I agree her expressions are sometimes too much, the vein in her forehead is so strained I thought it was going to pop 😬 ...and the 'warmth' comment, who uses that term to describe a feeling for a family member who just passed! it's so odd. Every interview is her having to react to something she has said to correct, or someone else, or a so called misperception and of course she has to say something about the RF.
