In the first year, Meghan added 7.5 million to KP IG account; split from it and form @sussexroyal IG which set a record by the fastest rise to a million. Now it is over 8 million and rising. Interestingly, KP IG recently copied the format and style of @sussexroyal IG. That is the Meghan Effect. Even before Harry, everything she touches turns to gold.

The Duchess of Sussex is beautifully amazing, caring, hard-working, intelligent and down to Earth and puts her money where her mouth is, which cannot be said for most. What is even more amazing is that she also has a loving and adoring Prince cheering her on. She is respectful of where she goes and conscious of what and who she is wearing. She mixes it up and that's what I love about her. Simply beautiful and amazing and all her efforts and charities prove it.

sharon wesley No she has access to, just like Catherine, funding from Prince Charles through the Duchy of Cornwall which he pays tax on. But she’s certainly wealthy in her own right too.

@@kand692003 she does not have access, her bills are paid from Charles income from the Duchy of Cornwall estate, there is a difference and its only for now when Charles becomes King then the Duchy of Cornwall passes to William and harry's funding will change, he will get a much lower allowance from The Duchy of Lancaster which is the Monarchs private estate, it will be lower because a lot of the family receive an allowance too and every member of the family has wealth in their own right the Queen and Charles are the wealthiest and that will be passed on to William and George

It's because she's doing too good of a job, had she struggled they would be able to write about people guiding her, assisting her, telling her the rules. Only thing is she has a great mentor in Harry, the Queen and his father; she's managed to do way more in one year than many. Media can't congratulate her so they are trying to smear her. Doesn't help that Prince William gave media heads the go ahead to print negative stories about her, including contacting her father. Funny enough Prince William has affair rumours going around yet the UK media are instructed not to write about it. Interesting eh?

It's "such hard work" to get dressed in designer clothes and have photographers take your picture, as you have security muscle people at public functions who simply want to take a picture of SOMEONE ELSE. She met Harry at Ron Burkle's (former best friend of Bill Clinton) Soho House, where she "worked", if you get what I mean. She's in her early 40s, not 37 or 38. The supposed pregnancy has clearly been shown to be false by the fact that her 'baby bump' inflated and deflated seemingly at will, swung from side to side as she walked, and even disappeared completely on the night of the infamous baby shower in New York. Besides that, her two ex husbands say that she's infertile and that's why her first marriage was annulled. She and Harry aren't even together anymore, and it's obvious to anyone who looks at the photos taken at the Invictus Games that Meghan, Marcus Anderson, and Doria were arguing with Harry and it's believed that this was the night on which Harry was blackmailed into marrying her. You're admiration for the grifter, Rachel Meghan Markle, is seriously misplaced. By the way, she's the one who set her own father up to be photographed so she'd have an excuse to uninvite him to the wedding. Anyway, you really need to do some research. Too many people are under the impression that she's hated due to racism, but racism has nothing whatsoever to do with it. It's her lack of morals that people can't stand. That and the fact that she's a grifter and a gold digger and isn't in love with Harry.

She's unfairly targeted and compared to Kate, with the naysayers reminding anyone who would listen, that Kate will be " queen" one day, but while they raise this fact, they also conveniently forget that Meghan's role won't hold her to the same protocols that Kate will have to be dictated by and as such allows Meghan some more wiggle room to be royal without the rigidity of the protocols that Kate must abide by. She's done her husband and herself proud by the way she's dealt with the challenges and demands of the role she's taken on and the negativity that come with it, with dignity, grace and an unshakable goal of being a dutiful wife to her husband and being the best mother she can be to their child/ children.

@lana lake Thank you so much for you kind response. It's sad that they're pitted one against the other when their roles are clearly defined by the person to whom they're espoused. With Meghan's seeming desire to simply live the life of being wife to Harry and mother to their child/ children, find it very off-putting that some people would say that SHE'S after fame and attention and SHE wants to be queen. Why in the halibut would she want to subject herself to further scrutiny and protocols, the same protocols they accuse her of breaking? Does this sound like the thinking of" logical people"?

@Ripton Johnson As a Brit I am well aware of George V's patent. I have quoted it on previous threads. Title or not it is still very unlikely he will become King. And seeing as Charles is keen to streamline the Monarchy there is every chance he will issue a new patent overiding that of his Gt Grandfather. If that happens the only title Archie will hold is His Grace The Duke of Sussex upon Harry's death.

Meghan is the VP for the Queen's Commonwealth Trust, she is patron for 4 charity organizations, she also has traveled to two different countries, at the request of the British government and other dignitaries, since getting married a year ago... meeting with politicians, different organizations, and Invictus games officials and participants, which was started by her husband... (You know many of those people were finding it hard to cope with life after leaving the military, severe injuries, struggling with mental health, etc.) Meghan also came up with the idea to do a cookbook, to benefit families displaced by the Grenfell Tower fire, which over 70 people died... the proceeds (about 1.3 million, so far) made it possible to renovate that kitchen as well as provide meals for about 300 people 7 days a week, instead of only 2 days a week. Also 23 women were able to get certifications and start their own projects to help others. This does not include other engagements she has done. She did this within a year of being married and had a baby. You can try but you will fail. They can't take this away from her. They want people to forget because this is not the actions of a villain. We will continue to highlight her good deeds and hard work.

If there's one bit of gossip I deeply hope is untrue, it's that the royals are looking for a "getaway" in Malibu, which is too close to the Hollywood scene. Instead, if they're looking for such a place here in the US, it would seem consistent with their royal lifestyle if they planted their feet in Essex, Ct., a hamlet with considerable history and social stability to it in contrast to the many temptations you read about coming from the Hollywood social scene.
