one of the biggest reasons Meghan McCain's faults are so entertaining is because she is reactive, not responsive. There is a difference. Her emotions are on her sleeve, and not just on her sleeve, but often projected onto others.

@@sarahtiferet9025 I think her behavior is very common of an overly sensitive, insecure person who lacks the self esteem and maturity to handle criticism and disagreements. Her time on The View exposed all her insecurities to the world in a much more public way than ever before and she proved that she lacked the emotional maturity to handle things in a professional and adult manner. She took everything anyone said personally, even when they weren't talking about her at all, and was constantly casting herself as the victim. She never saw her own faults or felt she was ever in the wrong. In all honesty I don't image she lives a very pleasant life.
When they did her DNA work she did have some roots in Britain as well. Three reasons why McCain was a terrible cohost on the view, having nothing to do with her personal politics: 1. She is the ONLY cohost in the view history that would blatantly not participate in segments. 2. She offered very little to the conversation OUTSIDE of her politics. She lacked balance. She probably would be better on a tv show that was ALL politics. This wasn’t the platform for her. She refused to stretch herself. 3. She was plain out bratty. Childlike almost.
The more privileged, the more entitled, the more disconnected. I read a study that said the more privileged a person is the more they believe they actually deserve their privileged status. This is why the rich tries so hard to plug their kids in jobs/schools they didn’t really work to get themselves and legitimize their positions over generations. That’s the reason we had that college admissions scandal with rich people paying to get their kids in top brand colleges instead of just getting in a regular university the regular way.
I am so happy she’s gone, the show is so much better now because the women actually are able to have debates that are respectful and professional…Meghan was nothing but toxic energy so it’s great that we don’t have to deal with her anymore
I will say one thing; she’s very passionate about her beliefs and spoke her mind knowing that she was the political minority at the table. But the DELIVERY of those thoughts and opinions combined with taking absolutely no accountability for her own disrespectful, unprofessional behavior is what earned her the title of Most Hated View Cohost.
I have to agree, I love hearing different views on things, but she was very annoying and rude and even childish at times. The clip where she talks about the Russian captive was important, but her delivery was just wrong, she did in such a pompous, 'I'm better than you,' type of way.
The problem is she often spoke incoherently when she spoke her mind and more importantly she spread misinformation and had to be fact checked often on Twitter which is why she was always trending by people with blue checkmarks who do real journalism for a living.

I guarantee you that's what happened. She wanted so badly to be fired so she could create a career about how the media silences conservatives. She saw how lucrative that narrative was and is for her friend Bari Weiss, she was completely aiming for the same. Instead, it backfired and she's stuck writing for the Daily Mail.

Ugh, she's horrible. The show definitely needs a conservative voice (and I say that as a left leaning person) but I'm sure there are soooo many better options than her.
The bottom line is that this product of nepotism was never qualified to sit in that chair. She was good for ratings the same way people like to watch a train wreck. All of the times thatJoy, Whoppy and Sonny had to tolerate her rude interruptions and , ignorant rants then apologize to that entitled brat eventually became intolerable.

One of Megan‘s worst traits on this show is that she was never responsive but she was always reactive! There’s a huge difference. It was as tho ANY time she was asked for an opinion or she gave an opinion, she always came across as giving it in a very angry and aggressive tone. The other women were able to sit there and actually just speak. Maybe sometimes Joy would raise her voice a little bit but Joy was nowhere NEAR to the point of aggressiveness as Megan. And I hate to admit it because this was a guilty pleasure of mine, but I used to love when Megan and Joy would bump heads and go at it. You could tell that Joy just absolutely had a distain for Megan, and I completely could understand why!. I believe that any time Joy and Megan have had it out with each other on the show, Joy was always in the right. And I would’ve acted pissed off too. Megan just acted like a disrespectful little army brat.. She would ALWAYS have something to say to the women on the show to the effect of how she’s “not a child and” etc. etc. But girl, if you’re acting childish, then people are going to TREAT you like one. No matter who you are or where you came from, or how educated you think She would also come across with the things she would say to the the effect that, she knew more about politics than anyone else that was sitting at the table. “My dad was this, my dad was that, everybody in my family was in the military”, blah blah blah blah blah. And it’s not that she was conservative which is why nobody liked her. It was because of the way that she would act, the way that she would come across, and yes maybe she was very radical right wing at times with the things that she would come out with and say, but she was a brat and she did act like a child, and she had a sick attitude. Sometimes she would look so angry at topics that they would be talking about that she disagreed with, that the flesh looked like it was gonna melt off of her face. There’s also been plenty of times more than I can count where she would cross her arms the way a toddler would if they couldn’t get what they wanted in the candy store. I remember one time Joy made fun of it and she crossed her arms right after Megan did it and I laughed so hard. And I always loved it whenever Whoopie would shut her down. Nobody else was able to shut Megan down the way that Whoopie be was. I still wonder to myself why that was? But that was just always the case.
