Well, I have to thank you for helping me save my vintage Superman and Myxlplyx. Both rubber bands dried out and broke, but I kept them just in case. And then you came along and showed me the way. Now they are all suited up and standing on their own! Thank you!! If you have a FB page, I can share pics with you.
Zit cream/ benzoyl peroxide on the action figure's stained rubber or plastic body part, and beneath (clear) plastic/ Saran Wrap (+ the sunshine) helps keep the cream moist...when working on particularly stubborn stains over a days + +. Simply add more zit cream, as required.
@@JosephProductions : I believe it will❣️ I was able to successfully fade out the ink marks on both: My 14" Batgirl physique (particularly the black-inked yellow rubber feet/toes); and my all-white 14" Harley Quinn's full body and head (red-marked from the fresh, richly dyed red+black fabric outfit & skullcap). It may have taken me ~6 days of full coverage of the lotion, each set between 2 long sheets of Saran Wrap, sealed together (& I processed the Quinn head separately). I turned the figure over daily, & spot-applied any required cream, keeping each body on a sunny window ledge. The sheets of clear plastic wrap, layed together, allowed me to re-open & close the plastic, without removing the figure & potentially rubbing off any moist lotion between re-applications.
Can't thank you enough. My 4th Doctor's leg just fell off, and I looked, expecting a little rubber band, but it was more complicated than that! Just ordered some 2mm cord. :)
Hi Joseph. I really enjoy your vids. Any chance you have every restrung a skinny mego body? I recently picked up a Superfriends retro Joker and as awesome as he is his arm fell right out. The shoulder has a pin in it instead of the usual hook hole. Any chance you know how to restring this with the cord or can steer me toward a vid that does? I really dig the Indiana Jones. Great job on all the details
