One of my favorite things about the episode, which I’m glad you guys left in, was when Spock says he can bring his closest friends to the ceremony. He invites Kirk, of course, and then invites McCoy. One might have expected Bones to make a wise ass comment, but he humbly says “I would be honored, sir”. It showed the true feeling McCoy had for Spock.
Enjoyed the fact that you added the smile. That made the whole teleplay worth watching. I mean, it's the highlight of the original episode. Spock. Smiling.😁 I didn't see that again until I saw The Menagerie for the first time. Great job. 🖖
hahah, for real...this guy does a great job...can't wait to see more of his works. the craziest part of the Menagerie for me was when in the transporter room, Spock yells *"THE WOMEN!!"* 😮
It's actually a highlight, to me, of the series because, as McCoy put it, it "brought the house down." And it did. How can that one, emotional reaction by Spock be reconciled?
Loved it! You absolutely made my day. Thank you for not including a Mego Chapel. This was so well done. The sets were outstanding as well as all the set dressing. Very detailed. I especially got a kick out of the IDIC throw pillow on Spock's bed. Bravo!
“The air is the air…what can be done?” This was an OUTSTANDING production Adam. Almost…almost…as good as the original. Nah, I can’t lie, this was 1000x better! 🖖
@@pex_the_unalivedrunk6785 I bought a Captain Kirk Barbie doll for my 1:6 scale jeep and it took me months to open the box because it was marked to a collectors item!
It would be a crime to insert a line after Kirk says, "You mean Vulcan biology?" like, "No, you dummy, high-school biology." Then smack him in the back of the noggin.
First, when Spock slashed Kirk's chest and ripped his tunic i passed an entire cheese sandwich through my nose. When you painted that smile across Spock's mug i was like wait.what? It was better than the original!
Nice touch on adding a smile to Spock's face. Kudos to you for keeping the spirit of Star Trek going in whatever form one chooses. Good work! Not sure though if Celia Lovsky would have been flattered by your representation of her, but one has to work with what one has.
THAT WAS FANNNNNTASTIC‼️‼️‼️ I LOVE THOSE SHIP SHOTS TOO! SO COOL AND SPACEY LOTS OF STELLAR GLARE! And THE MEGO VOICES AND ESPECIALLY THE MEGO STILLS PHOTOS AT THE END WERE SO LIFE LIKE! & GI JOE MOVIE SO REALISTIC!! Much better than our attempts as kids🤣😂😆YOURS WAS AWWWWWESOME AND THE MUSIC!! THE THE THE EVERYTHING WAS GRAND!‼️ LOVED IT👍👍👍‼️‼️‼️🖖🖖🖖🖖
This was so great! I really liked that you included when Spock said, "I also requested McCoy" and McCoy's "In a pig's eye" at the end. You really treat these stories with respect. Love it!
Thank you!!!! That's my goal!!! I grew up on these episodes. I want to do the original series justice, just a smaller condensed version!! Thanks for the comments!! 🙏🙏🤜🤛
I love your credits for "Mego" Shatner as Kirk, etc. but the end credits are crazy some of those production guys have identical names...they need a raise. Awesome vid brutha-man!
You know what I love? The close ups at scene transitions…Kirk’s expressions never (can’t) change no matter the situation. That smirk! I can’t stop laughing…
This is brilliant, like visualizing what I could only imagine with my figures when I was 11 in 1974. I swear at one point around 2:58 Mego Spock looks like Chevy Chase's Spock in the classic '76 Saturday Night Live sketch!
That was absolutely delightful! Brought back the joy of playing with Mego figures and the joy of recreating adventures, making up new ones. Set designs were damn good and in scale, dialogue synching perfect, I mean you made it look easy but Im sure it was quite a challenge and very time consuming but the final product is a love letter to both Star Trek and Mego
Thank you sooi much!!! I appreciate those awesome comments!!! It is a lot of work, but it's so much fun!!! More episodes coming & I do have a lot of G.I.Joe Adventure Team stories you can view. 🙏🙏🙏
The Music during the fight sequence was so perfect it was known as the "STAR TREK FIGHT MUSIC"............................and this was the only episode it was used !
I had Spock & my brother had Kirk Mego figures as kids. Every Christmas for the last few years, I think of buying the reproduction Mego figures of Spock & gifting my brother with the Kirk figure. But I wonder if he would think it strange as we are both in our early 50s now.
Thank you!!!! Glad your enjoying these!!! I grew up on Star Trek TOS. I do my best to do justice to these iconic classic episodes. Many more coming!!! 🙏🙏🙏
This is really amazing! As a fan of both Star Trek and Mego, I can tell you that you have a hit on both counts. And the view count confirms this! It's clear you put a lot of time and effort putting this video together and the end product is fantastic! Congrats on this success!👍
Thanks sooo much LogicBlaster!!! I definitely consider that High Praise! I know your a big fan of of both!! I still can't believe the success I'm having with these photo stories. They are a lot of fun to make!!! I appreciate your awesome comments as always my friend!!! 🙏🙏🙏🤜🤛
This is worthy of high praise because I know the difficulty of editing and syncing up audio and video. This is not easy and I can tell you went through a lot to figure out what to shoot, which audio to use, and how to tell the story in a shorter form from the original episode. This is a masterpiece of planning and editing!
@@g.i.joethelostchronicles6807 - that sounds awesome! Thank you! I was looking for a Patreon link but didn’t see one for you. I’ll probably send a link over to Jim at Trek World. If he does a video on this, your channel will see a sizable boost. I’m hoping you don’t have troubles with copyright using the audio of TOS because this is so awesome what you’re doing here. Your editing/ trimming of the shows, boiling them down to the meat is on point. In Mirror Mirror you cut Kirk’s girlfriend out. I know some will be a little disappointed on that but I thought it was brilliant. She wasn’t necessarily to the story and your version showed that perfectly. Well done
@@paulveltum7968 thank you sooo much!!!! You definitely have to pick and choose when your condensing an hour show to around 8-10 minutes. So far, no copyright issues with using the original sound tracks. I appreciate you you my friend!!!!! 🙏🙏🖖
@@g.i.joethelostchronicles6807 By the way, I read your home page. When I saw Jonny Quest, I nearly fell out of my chair. JQ original is my favorite cartoon of all time. 👍
Hey Adam 👋 God bless you and your family hope all is good 👍 brother i really enjoyed the TV show lol i actually thought 🤔 i was watching the TV show just awesome 👍 can't wait to see the next episode of Star trek lol God bless Gi Joe Eddie the epic adventure over and out 🍻🍻🤜🤛🤯🤯 🤯🤘🤘🤘🤘
I have LOTS of episodes I'll be doing including "Doomsday Machine" "The Enemy Within" "The Naked Time" "Catspaw" "Balance of Terror" "Trouble with Tribbles" etc ....
Grew up on the 60’s reruns. Love seeing these episodes retold with the figures and original soundtrack. More adventure team. Curious about mystery incorporated’s hi-jinks. No Archie and butthead…… I mean jug head. Thanks man! Need more KISS. Maybe a little Ronnie James Dio? Rock on solid.
Ok so how is it that Spock's family own a mountain top marriage arena which they all assume they will never need to use and NOBODY made a time-share joke? Did you know you can get 3 days and 2 nights on Planet Vulcan? All you have to do is agree to sit through a short 3 hour long presentation.
Your reenactment is spot on. Those new Mego Trek collars are horrible though. How is it they looked so good in the 1970s and Modern Mego can't duplicate the process?
