The singer is Haroon he starts way back ear9 90s as a member of a band called Awaz. His 1st hit was jadoo ka chiragh Although his 1st single was yaara released in 2000. The female singer is from Lebanon.

Ok heres his history, he started with a band called "Awaz" (lit translation Voice/sound) with co singer Fakhir Mehmood and guitarist Asad. It was a fusion band as Haroon brougt modern pop and Fakhir brought Jingles/melodies to the band ( which was evident later when they broke up in early 2000 and went solo, Mehbooba was Haroons first single). They were the first south asian band to be aired on MTV. Early hits from awaz to check out: 1. Janeman(Darling) (1993) 2. Tu hay kahan/girl oh Girl 1993, bilingual song 3. Jado ka chiragh (magic lamp) 4. Fraudiyay ( Cheeky song on tricksters and corrupt peoplle) And the last song they released as a band was "Tu hee jeet hay" for Pepsi Pakistan Cricket worldcup album 1999. Other Single from Haroon to check out: "Dil Se mainay dekha Pakistan" (lit trans: from heart i saw Pakistan)an emotional patriotic song set on the backdrop of Partitian of India in 1947 and migration to Pakistan. His exband member Fakhir also had a good solo career, and like haroon his solo breakout was also kinda bilingual with intro in Spanish. "Dil kee baatien" .. he is now into Music direction, with his most famous work in Coke studios Afreen Afreen, he is the guy on the Piano in the song.

Mehbooba means sweetheart or lover in Urdu. In Pakistan Urdu is spoken and not Hindi which is spoken in India, though both the languages are similar. .

Jadoo ka chiragh was his first hit song in which he introduced pakistani rap. He was in Awaz band at that time with his co singing partner fakhir then both of them broke the band and went solo in 2000 where Haroon first solo hit song was YARA.

Haroon was a member of Awaaz Band (voice/sound) which was formed in 1992...he was my favorite growing up with his song Jadoo Ka Chiragh (Magic Lamp like Genie in a lamp from Aladdin) being my favorite at that time...the band was later broke off with Haroon and Fakhir another talented musician choosing solo paths, its been v long since any of these released any new albums, and yeah Nescafe Basement did a cover of this song in last season. Fun Fact: Eva Zu beck famous travel vlogger rumored (I'm sure abt it lol) to have dated him for more than an year when in Pakistan
