Meher Baba and Mental Suffering: Reflections on the Satara automobile Accident 

Meher Baba has mentioned on several occasions that his work involved three types of suffering: physical suffering, mental suffering, and spiritual suffering. In this presentation we reflect on the impact of mental suffering upon himself, his mandali, and his followers around the world. We especially focus on the mental suffering which resulted from Meher Baba’s automobile accident in Satara, MS, India which took place on December 2nd, 1956.
