Brad just keeps on evolving and growing in his musical art. First Highway Rider, this and now Finding Gabriel. Keep up your journey and I will marvel at your creative genius.

I bought this album on vinyl, almost entirely due to the appeal of this video, and also the videos for Hungry Ghost and Just Call Me Nige (also on RU-vid.) I can honestly report that these tracks, as they manifest on the actual record, do not have the same appeal as what is heard in these RU-vid videos. Granted, these are live cuts, and are naturally going to be different... but the musical phrasing and overall performances in these versions are definitely better and more rich than on the record. With that said, this is a great release, and you should get it. There are 2 or 3 tracks on it that are absolute duds in my opinion, one being the title track (with the spoken word stuff... totally irrelevant and has no place.. and is annoying since you just have to place the needle on the next track immediately after starting it.) The rest of the compositions, for the most part, are musically rich and have good melody. You'll hear some intelligent synth playing (GREAT Rhodes parts in there) and deft drumming on this album. The vinyl release has really great sound quality even on my meager turntable.

Mehliana ... musicians creating/opening new neural pathways to experience deeper authentic expressions to explore our inner landscape ... love this collaboration, simply brilliant.

This confused me because I thought there was a vamp at the beginning but then the whole thing was a vamp lmao

Please, please more albums in this vein, but without the spoken word (which gets annoying if you listen amazing music like this repeatedly).

Mark Guiliana... on the skeletal groove resistance; and killing it. ...as Brad washes and flows.
