He used the splashes a couple of times. One at 3:05 mark and one at 3:24 mark. I agree though, would have loved to hear more of the splashes used.

@@JostNickel Oh yes! I remember that awesome video. Question. Does it matter which splash cymbals you can use on particular crash cymbals? I am guessing it is personal preference. I am thinking about buying some splash cymbals to add to my drumset.

@@jalthealusdavis8762 theres a pad between splash and crash so they are their own sounds. That's just a way to save space. I like my splashes on their own stands
