It is seldom the drummer that is annoying me in metal. It is usually the singer. Insanely good drumming, complex bass lines, the best riffs, and then the vocalist opens his mouth and starts screaming and ruins everything. Maybe I don't have enough hate and aggression in me to understand the necessity to kill such good music. Sometimes I read the lyrics and I have to admit, they are actually quite often good poetry, but who cares, nobody understands a word anyway with all that bawling. That's why I love these drum playthroughs on RU-vid.

@@karlalastname4944 I recommend you to check out Sebastian´s other band "Panzerballett" then. The music is a fusion/jazz/metal hybrid in which the vocalist part is replaced by a saxophone. Maybe this will be more to your taste. Greetings.

ChaosPotato sebastian’s playing is a lot smoother, more relaxed feel. i’d argue his time leans more towards sean reinert. one of my favs

Jack Heet agree with you on the reinert comment. it’s probably their shared jazz backgrounds

Alex Rudinger did come to my mind while this was playing. I think it's the tasty sauce he adds when his fills have that ever-so-slight drag that makes you think "he's not gonna fit all those notes in that measure in time... oh he just did."

Yeah he used to do drum clinics or whatever with hannes. I don't think many can replace Hannes. Hannes writes way too good.

Are you on crack or something? He has some of the best flow in Tech Death, it’s almost like he’s loose and tight at the same time
