It's the unspoken words between her and Whoopi at the end. Whoopi was showing her support and validation in a motherly and sisterly way. Like "Sis...I got you. You're good. You're HERE. You made it through the storm and you're doing GREAT." I love it. You can tell that Mel still needs that. And when you've been in an abusive relationship, you need that kind of support. I'm extremely happy for Mel.

I remember when they got married, they were saying how successful her ex-husband was; now we learn that's not true and to top it off, he was abusive. Be careful everyone.

I really relate to her as a DV survivor when she said "your life is like a blur, you're in flight or fight mode" and how 10 years disappeared and your left estranged from family/friends.

She's always been beautiful but she's glowing the more she ages. Spice girls forever ❤ I love how supportive she is of Kate. Girl power 💛

I can relate. I was in an abusive relationship for 10 years and I'm really messed up about it and constantly battle thoughts of suicide.

Blessings to you my dear.......us women need so much more than is offered when having been in a domestic abusive relationship. To many of us are even shamed for having been with someone abusive let alone being supported and loved back to life. It's terrifying and alot of work on the road back to life once free from such monsters.

I am So happy that someone Finally said that responders to DV situations need to be retrained on how to handle these situations. That it is not always apparent who the "victim" is, and those who are being called for help need to be able to read the situation, sometimes between the lines. My husband's former wife used the current system to control him, to keep him from leaving her. She used their children as weapons, she used the police and department of human services to keep him from seeking help by playing the victim. He was finally able to leave her when his work therapist told him he was in an abusive relationship, and he works in construction so if his work doctor could see the situation it had to be a very bad homelife, and it was.

I love that Mel B said that about Princess Kate. Shame on Sarah and Sunny. Their attitude lately turns me off just like I felt when me again was on the show. If they had seemed sincerely sorry and didn’t blame the palace or each other and took ownership of their behaviour in a sincere way like Ana and Alyssa did I could forgive them. But they didn’t.
