On July 28, 2006 at 3:10 a.m. famed celebrity actor Mel Gibson was pulled over for speeding along the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, California. Gibson was traveling at 80 miles per hour, 35 miles per hour over the legal speed limit. The police gave Gibson an alcohol breath test and a field sobriety test. They discovered that his blood alcohol level was .12, far exceeding the state's legal limit. Deputy James Mee, one of the responding officers, claimed that Gibson was irate, saying "My life is f****d." The deputy then instructed Gibson that he would not use his cuffs if Gibson would cooperate. Gibson responded: "I'm not going to get in your car" and proceeded to make a mad dash toward his own car. The officers subdued Gibson, cuffed him, and placed him in the back of the police car. Gibson became even more irate and issued a series of inflammatory comments to the police. He is reported to have told the officers: "F*****g Jews. The Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world." Gibson then asked one of the officers, "Are you a Jew?" He then said to Deputy Mee, "I own Malibu" and "I will spend all of my money to get even with you." A female sergeant approached Gibson and he said to her: "What do you think you're looking at sugar tits?" Gibson was booked into the Lost Hills Sheriff's station at 4:06 a.m. He spent a few hours in lockup before being released on $5,000 bail at 9:45 a.m. After Gibson's release, Deputy Mee claimed that his superiors in the police department asked him to submit a sanitized version of the report-one that omits the more inflammatory comments-because they felt that it would "incite Jewish hatred." In the following interview with Diane Sawyer on Good Morning America, Gibson grapples with the reasons he utilized such incendiary language in discussing the Jewish community.

These are not journalists, they are vultures! Sawyer can say she s without sins ? We should do put her in his seat , her and all the people who are judgmental like her . Saying things on all these false Jews he had to deal with in this industry, who can say he s wrong? They are not Jews , they pretend to be, to be protected, they are the synagogue of Satan written in the Bible. Jesus is a Jew . If I reckon , Mel did the Passion of Christ. And we can see in this movie real Jews and the Pharisees. Today is not different. Be objectified people. Why World War One ? Be honest ! You have the answer!

@@TonyEnglandUK Journalism? You think we have journalism these days? Interesting! I have a challenge for you. Take one subject that is hot today, that the MSM can't stop talking about on a daily basis and dive deep into it. Don't care what it is. Climate change, green energy, fossil fuels, the (in)famous jab, the hole in the ozon layer, the wars happening today, you name it. I think you'd find that you quickly become disillusioned with what they call journalism today and find out pretty quickly that it's like our current day educational system.... more or less pure propaganda to force a certain narrative down your throat.

He is a public figure who made racist remarks towards Jewish people while drunk. His movie Passion of Christ was controversial there were speculations of him being an anti-semite. He said what he meant under the influence. It was a silly move considering how many influential people in Hollywood are Jewish. After Michael Richards’s racist rant his career was over so is Mel’s. He apologized when he was sober which means he regretted that he spoke what was on his mind while drunk.

There's a video of her on here where she's drinking wine and popping either a pain pill/or anxiety pill literally minutes before going on air. So she's the last one to be judging others and questioning others about their substance abuse issues. This country is in the midst of an opioid epidemic. And the reason the majority never get help or end up relapsing is because judgemental people never let them forget their mistakes.

@michaelvaughn8864

My pop's fraternal twin brother, my Uncle Harry, was an alcoholic most of his adult life. He was a functioning one much of the time. He was married, responsible, helped raise 2 kids (my 2 cousins, who are identical twin sisters), and held down a job. When he wasn't working on weekends, which he'd do once in a while, he was kicking back during the day in his easy chair getting his drink on with beer and mad shots of Jim Beam. He would do it for a certain amount of hours and then put a cap on it once he was pretty knunked up😐

You have to wonder if it was only alcohol? Alcohol is a bad enough addiction but he'll have also had very easy access to drugs . Anyway an interview surfaced in the past few years that he did during the publicity for the film conspiracy theory and he goes down a rabbit hole on the Hollywood elites and thats probably why he got blacklisted not because a DUI and all his drunken rants . Lets be real here his Russian or Polish girlfriend or wife whatever she was who recorded him was a gold digger and I listen to his drunken rants every single year and they're hilarious

i agree that people make mistakes and he doesn't need our judgement. but it always starts with yourself. and mel proved many times how flawed he is. especially when it comes to his racist tendencies. he even used the n word in those leaked audio records and combined it with the word "pack" that basically dehumanized black men. so he started that crap. and people still making excuses for him. i know alcohol is bad but there is also the saying that drunk people have no filter and they tend to say what they really think. IN VINO VERITAS when it comes to his anti jewish statements. what else is he supposed to do? of course he has to apologize. that is not something to be proud of. that stuff was on tape. he had no other choice. by the way: no one forced him to make this interview. and the only reason this interview even exists is his because of him and his actions. and remember: actions always speaks louder than words.

Yeah he's right people have no idea what they're talking about. In vino veritas - bullshit. When you're drunk you are not yourself. You say and do things you would never do if you were sober. It's not like the alcohol makes you say things you would say if you were free to say. It's bullshit. You become a different person, anger takes over and it's like the devil feeds you lines you don't wanna say.

i can understand the way he describes the effects of hugely excessive alcohol abuse. I wish I’d seen this interview years ago. as I might have learned before it was far too late.

It’s funny, when angry, people will profess hatred for people they LOVE. Rarely do people suspect that teenagers truly hate their parents, even when they scream it. Not sure why we can’t see a drunk person in a similar light.
