Don't know why just cannot stand him.I think because he is such a light weight male in his mind and in his character,yes and in his acting, I do not think a director who almost pushes an actor into a nervous breakdown trying for blood draining effects is a good director nor one who pushes for crass blood letting effects.As in Brave Heart and the actor who played Christ on the cross,he pushed him almost to breaking point and he sustained permanent physical injury.A really talented director can create and tell his story without going to those extremes.Because he has talent and brains and know how.Gibson respects no one not even himself he knows he is low IQ and is just driven by ego and narcissistic pride disguised as boyish charm.

No, I think Leno obviously gets it, as he basically points it out, but I think he's also trying to make Mel look better by saying that it would be a double entendre to others that said that (but not Mel), even though Mel obviously meant it as a double entendre. Trying to keep Mel classy.

At this point in time, it might be best that there isn't one planned. I'd hate to see a cheap knockoff of the other movies happen. Two old guys fumbling around trying to recapture the glory of former days wouldn't work for me; nor would new actors replacing them. They'd most likely have to move the story line far away from what it was previously and it just wouldn't have the same vitality that it had before. It is sad that they've waited so very long.

Mel Gibson has always been one of my favorite actors. He has an incredible way of making you believe he's not acting. Very few actors can do that. I think that's why he gets the big bucks. Also, he's very smart and creative. When he gets 85 I wonder what the difference will be in blockbusters between himself and Clint Eastwood? Two brilliant men. I love the way Jay Leno interacts with the actors on his show. Hard to beat.

Despite his millions, Gibson as an actor, is a washed up has-been in Hollywood. His FOX defenders and apologists try and ignore the fact that Gibson was a f-ckup long before he got arrested for drunk driving (yes, more than once) and screaming out hatred of Jews and Blacks. His followers like to say that he "was drunk at the time", but forget that when you’re wasted you simply say the things that you've always felt and wanted to say when you were sober, nothing more.
