Melaleuca Trees in South Florida

These plants are an australian native, they are capible of surviving the hottests brushfires and intense drought, good luck getting rid of it. unless florida freezes

isnt this tree is also medicinal, antibacterial, antifungal, good for the bees ? Isnt tea tree oil made out of melaleuca leafs?

We have 5 of these trees in my yard and they look wonderful, kept the hurricane winds at bay and off our house, I love the smell ad the bee's love the flowers

Tea tree oil is super expensive yet this is a invasive plant? People are strange animals. Why not harvest this plants healing properties instead of killing them?
