My beautiful daughter was promoting from junior high school at a performing arts school and she had to perform something and explain the meaning of the piece she chose. She performed this song. She told me the reason why she chose it was because she knows that her voice has power and things she says and speaks can help her to create her own happiness.

Heres a hint for the next song! If you listen closely to the conversaions at the end you hear a man say "Bend her bones backwards." Melanie's music hit a lot of trauma points for me in my life and it helped heal me in ways I needed. I'm so glad you're listening to her and going on this journey too. ❤❤ can't wait for you to hear the rest of her music. I hope you do the deluxe tracks too Pluto is a gem of a song. I'm so excited for more!

@laririra_OSC I think you're thinking of the ending of leeches. That is just a free sound sample they used and not Oliver like people want to believe. I'm talking about the ending of battle of the larynx/intro to the contortionist. During the "party" you hear a man say amongst others talking. He says "Bend her bones backwards"

In general, this is perhaps the most complex in meaning of her albums, she took a very philosophical topic, I don’t know how she will explain it, in this topic she will not be able to rely on life experience. There will be no facts here, but there will be ideas and opinions, faith that cannot be proven during life. It's very interesting and very difficult. This is the first time she has done something like this, although there were prerequisites in K-12. We'll see what comes of this. Anyone want to share their expectations?

For me, it has Standing for Oneself. I realizing that for being so quiet and underestimate me, they didn't know I'm an Introvert unlike them small minds talk about people, spread gossips and everything bad.(it's not just about being with relationship but I'm with Toxic people in Toxic Society) Melanie Martinez Music always create 1 Music with more than 2 or 3 meanings. Just like Tunnel Vision I relate there also, People who have shallow vision and you and you they see mistakes on you only.

thanks for your opinion. How do you think she will integrate this song into the concept of the album? In my opinion, the process of creating her albums has not changed. She also takes themes and builds a concept sequentially from start to finish. Each song has its own meaning (such a microhistory within the global one), while they are all contained within the concept and song titles as well. It turns out that in this album she writes about, let’s say, the phases that a person goes through after death. I love Battle of the Larynx! Next up is my favorite song, "The Contortionist." Unfortunately, I relate to it too much. You'll see why that's unfortunate when you hear it, but even if it wasn't for the darker relatable lyrics, the music itself is amazing!

Melanie teaches her fans how to deal with this type of people that provoke you for no reason, just to feel superior. Being silent is the best response. If they cross the line, respond gracefully, "in cursive"; don't become a monster to fight another. Additionally, this song is produced in a way that resonates within inside a larynx, if you pay attention.

Hello. about the transitions. Most likely they will make sense in music videos. I still don’t understand whether the plot is sequential because I don’t understand the terms that she uses (I don’t know anything about astrology, life after death, etc. I bought a book about near-death experiences and essentially life after death, maybe this will let me understand what's going on here). In general, she will make a film, now they seem to be looking for sponsors.
