When I was a kid I was bullied so heavily that I would pretend to be sick to go to the Nurse's Office hoping they would send me home. So yeah this song hits close to home. I'm an adult now but the effects of bullying and abuse in my childhood has caused damage. depression, anxiety and ptsd.
same, i don't know why some kids like to bully. I always faked being sick and my mum wasn't happy about it. I now have new amazing classemates, but I have all the anxiety and panic attacks from past years. My therapist sugested to switch to classes for adults, because they are online now and I won't have to deal with all the stress. I feel so bad for leaving my friends, but I don't know how else would I finish highschool, without being home every second day. I feel like a failure most of the time, but I know that others have all the strenght to visit school because they didn't go trough trauma, like some of us did. I'm happy to have my family and boyfriend by my side so I don't give up. You are not alone💪
If y’all don’t know the meaning of the song it’s basically about how crybaby gets bullied and shes hurting emotionally and band aids cannot heal her pain, and she just wants to go home to avoid the bullies
@@itsjustPiwoah bestie, people can interpret songs any way they want. Just because a song doesn’t explicitly mention something doesn’t mean that’s absolutely not what it’s about.
This song talks about how she's getting bullied so she is pretending to be sick to get back home because no one is helping her. And when they gave her that bottle of medicine it was probably a representation of her resorting to drugs which at first made her happy, but soon, even more stressed than before.
Nina Jewett watch the clip, unicorn is right. For show and tell she was a doll and the students opened her stomach so she went to the nurses office, luckily her friend (in this clip) made her a human again.
omg relatable, like I had the flu that led to diabetes and the nurse didn't send me home ONLY because my mom was working and so was my dad like omg I have sisters
And that right there my friend is what proves that this supposed “Nurses office”, is really just a torture room where they torture kids supposedly “breaking rules” because in the film Angelita changed Crybaby back to a human when she was a doll right in front of the nurses which is why they (probably) took the two into the room. Lol digging way too deep, sorry. ;w;
Me:watching in my mobile Me: Put ur hands in the air like you just dont care nurses: keeps on Dancing With there Hands Up Me: not sleeping at all that night because I thought the nurses can hear me through screen
I relate to this song so much. I used to fake being sick to skip school, until one day they stopped believing me so I started to stop eating or things like that to go away from school.
My school nurses check ur temperature. If u don't have a fever u go back to class. Whether ur throwing up, stomach hurts, headache, dizzy, anything. They just send u back to class
Student: *Has fever* Nurse and teacher: *Gives band-aid* You're fine, get back to class Teacher's pet: *Has scratch* Nurse and teacher: Go home *Sends home*
00:40 for some reason the way she says "take me ho-oo-ome, gimme that's pink slip of permission, this is o-o-oldd, i'm tired of wishin, i was ditchin' " sounds so comforting to me
Melanie is SO talented!! Girl can write these lyrics, and then put together a video that should be a show on Broadway!!! Everything she does is beautiful!
Galactic Puppy J.R. omg 🤦🏾♀️ do u not get the joke. augustus gloop fell into the chocolate then the oompa loompas started dancing . ITS A JOKE OMG 😂😂😂💀
A Spanish singer named Andy Rivera published a new song (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1Ex22lgk1W4.html) and it’s a COPY of Nurse’s Office. The instrumental is the exact same and, from what I know, the singer didn’t give any credit at all to Melanie Martinez. It’s absolutely Spanish-speaking chaos over there.
Melanie:*Sneezes* Those nurse:*Straps her down on a table;gives her some weird medication;Gives her shots* - Me:*Breaks my arm* My Nurse:Put an icepack on it...
Omg I actually did that. We went roller skating for a field trip and I didn’t know how to and I broke my arm and the nurse said to go back to class. My x-rays prove her wrong
@@scooter2746 man you're literally replying to a bunch of people just bashing them for no reason at all. don't you have anything to do? wash the dishes, do your homework, clean your room, get a fucking life
Normal schools: Students: dying Nurse: here an ice pack! Advanced schools: Student: dying Nurses: *gives medication* K-12 schools/ The school in the movie: Students: dying Nurses: 💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃
