I went. Took 10 years to save but I went. Cried when I saw the sun coming up over Sydney on my way into Melbourne from LAX, U.S.A. 15 hr 30 min flight. My now ex always told me WHEN we were married that I'd NEVER get to go. It was finally a dream come true! I went to Melbourne, Ularu, Alice Springs, the Outback, saw The Southern Cross. Wow! Also went to the Great Barrier Reef, Cairns, Sydney. And, while in Cairns I finally got to hold a Koala. She was so delicate, like an elderly cat. 🐨 I hope someday to return to AUS.

Because Australia is the best country to live. Good life, less crime, beautiful weather, friendly people, good health system, good welfare system. I have lived USA and England and I can say Australia is better than both of the countries.
aaah , :( jst back to the UK from a month in Australia, watching this video put me right back there jst confirms my love for this country my heart was left there for sure . so love Melbourne the buzz the athmosphere the life there for me was the ticket . cannot wait for my nxt trip there Melbourne here i come yaaaaay :) :) :)
One of the world's greatest cities, with respect Girvan, I think you need to get out a bit more, outside of Australia most people have never heard of Melbourne
Face the Facts . Really? So how come a “World wide” organisation voted Melbourne the worlds most livable city seven years in a row? You should change your name to get your facts right.
@@rickydarcilover5581 Almost every other 2nd rate city in the world that entered that, "competition" got a 1st place rating in some category or another. Maybe they got the, "most friendly city", or the "best architecture city" , or the, "most affordable city", or the "best food city". Its a scam, you pay to join the "competition" with the guarantee that you will get an award. Probaly even pay more to buy the different categories depending on demand. The city PR dept can then use the title it "wins" to promote its tourism or building industry and population growth (making it definitely not the most livable city".. Its just like the Australian based, "Tidy Towns" awards, where every little road-stop in Australia seems to be the "tidiest town" in the country... There is no "most livable city" department at the UN, its a big-end -of-town promotions company running this scam. Why are people still so gullible ?
Environmental Media Foundation . Well if you don’t like our city you do not have to come here. Or if you are an Australian then you are welcome to leave considering you think Melbourne is a second rate city.
I came to Melbourne this year Feb to study. But because of COVID, I inevitably must need to come back. Just 7 weeks of memory living in Melbourne gave me unforgettable memories. Thanks beautiful city Melbourne. I hope someday I can visit here again in the future. I never forget the times I was crying on the plane departing from Melbourne.

Best city I've lived in mainly because of its people and the atmosphere. I was very happy here. Unfortunately I now live in Auckland New Zealand because of other reasons, but missed Melbourne very much!
Melbourne Australia is the best city in the world by far. Please do not even compare it with cities in the United States. I lived in the US for 5 years and missed Melbourne so badly. Graffiti in public places is a growing problem though. Melbourne should introduce tough laws like in Singapore to teach these vandals a lesson.
Oh please. If it wasn’t for Asian food there wouldn’t be any decent food in the city at all. And someone needs to teach Australians that you can’t hate Americans for being arrogant when they haven’t been and then turn around and be arrogant themselves. A lesson on how to use deodorant would also help the city as a whole. Yea. Graffiti is a problem? You forgot public drunkenness, massive homeless harassment and panhandling, people pissing and shitting and sleeping in public, and rude pushy people on public transit. There is nothing and I mean NOTHING Melbourne does better than any French, American or British city other than coffee. That is the only thing the city has going for it is ...coffee. Coffee and some decent Asian food. Wanna go have a drink? Haha- enjoy spending $15 on a weak cocktail. Want to go buy your alcohol yourself and drink it at home? Enjoy that $65 bottle of absolut. But hey. The Victorian market is nice. So there’s that. But anything there you can get in France or the USA as well at literally any farmers market. Look. I liked it there plenty enough. But for you to come in here with that....foolish grandstanding nonsense about Melbs, well. You clearly haven’t travelled much.
@@druidboy76 why do you think Melbourne has gotten the award of most liveable city in the world several/a few times in a row! Clearly it is the best city in the world.
Dude just tryna live i would’ve spared him some cash if I could. He wasn’t physically harming him or anything. Most other people would’ve done the same thing
I've lived in St Kilda and have been associated with St Kilda for 30 at least 30 years and I've lived here 20 years and I've been around Caulfield and I never get sick of this area I love traveling to sydney I don't mind the mid north coast like the warmer areas like where Port Macquarie and Taree in Forster and Coffs Harbour but I never get sick of St Kilda that's saying something
I would love to make a trip to Melbourne.. A sense of beautiful feelings and sometimes make my problem goes away for awhile.. A taste of getaway when the time is right and needed for me.. Am starting to save some money now😅😌
Ohh yeah. ... I love I love the city of beauty . nice peoples on street, hey this is shubhashis Mishra from India a tourist guide on mangrove forest and crocodile .love u dear ❤❤❤❤❤❤nice video
I have lived in Melbourne for over 40 years and I can remember what most of these scenes looked like before they looked the way that they appear in this video; even the MCG before it had its light towers.
Hi there, is it possible to use a few sec (about 10-15) from the video for a television program to be broadcast on Israeli Channel 1 (a public channel)? Of course for full credit. Thanks in advance
