Melbourne Car Community Rallies to Support Ross after His Loss 

We are chatting with Ross today about his tragedy after the loss of his 1979 HZ Holden Kingswood with a 308 V8 engine, GTS Dash and other special option features.
So to Start from the begin, In 1979 Ross placed an order to the Holden Factory to have a HZ Holden Kingswood in Atlantis Blue Paint, 308 V8 Engine, GTS dash and more. He had to wait six month for the vehicle to be produced until he could get it delivered and he has had this vehicle very since. The HZ Holden was he's pride n joy and used it for just about everything and it very once gave him problems. He used to do all his own servicing of the Kingswood and also kept immaculate as you see by the pictures in the video. He has owned other Holden during his time, but the Kingswood was his favourite. Ross would not even let the kids drive this vehicle ever, because he never wanted to have any damage.
So how did Ross get into this position that he's in. Ross was visiting his Son's house and stayed the night. So one broke into his garage, with a spare battery and stolen the HZ Holden. Ross was featured in a News awhile back regarding the theft as well. The Police management to find the car about 5 days after the fact in Menzies Creek area, however, it was not good news. The Thieves burnt the interior of the Kingswood that left this vehicle severely damaged.
The HZ Holden Kingswood was very much unsured for the valve of the vehicle. PLEASE NOTE: Check the Amount your vehicle is worth and make sure you are not caught out as well.
Now this has destroyed Ross and this Car was the love of his Life. He has been clearly heartbroken by this loss. However, the Melbourne Car Community has started to rally around Ross, thanks to his son Alf who has been trying to gain support from business to help him. He has been quite successful but they still need support.
One awesome helping point was the Bole Family, who their Father has a HZ Holden Kingswood that was the same year and the same colour, but it had a 6 cylinder engine instead. They give Alf the first right to refusal over the car, which they greatly accepted. They have great support from the business listed below but as you can image the cost of restoring these classic cars is quite expensive when looking for a GTS Dash, labour, engine rebuilding and more. Any assistance that individual can make will be greatly appreciated by Ross and the Family.
The plan is to have the car restored and running by Christmas for Ross to be reunited with his pride n joy.
