Man I was born and raised here. Spent 30 + years in Melbourne. But not one part of me misses it. Its so remote and cut off from the rest of the world. Weather is good during spring/summer tho
let in to many Asians and Chinese under sir Robert Menzies this would not have happened. I saw the best in 1960s of Australia great feel it had. and a lot of people that I met have said the same but things move on in this small world we live nowadays
It IS a Chinese city. Or as good as. Identikit crowded streets and noodle bars. They've still got the Victorian town hall. Give it a few years and they'll replace that with a glass skyscraper.
Well maybe the West shouldn't have gone down the pathway (sometime back in the latter half of the last century) of thinking that it was hip to reject all the old traditional values. With putting off having kids (and in a growing number of cases, not having kids at all) being just one of those aspects. A shrinking of the world's white population is the result. And now we're dependent on Asian and African immigration to keep our economy elevated. Otherwise we go into decline like in some parts of Europe. Too bad. Lesson learned hopefully, even if it's now too late to realise and reverse the trend.
@@eddielong8663 east Asians have an even worse birth rate. Think the world is generally getting full. Policy and marriage laws and feminism have destroyed everything. It will correct itself but some sort of big collapse is coming.
Melbourne is better than any city in the USA due to Gun violence in the USA... At the time of this comment, more than 22 people were killed and more than 80 are injured.
@@Uknow1997heheeh not much can be done about that lol I mean the city is only like 190 years old compared to something like London that is almost 2000 years old
