3:09 Edwardian Period, I’d say. The two periods bleed into each other but the Art Nouveau flourishes in the brickwork and the stain glass denote it as more La Belle Époque or Edwardian (it was also finished in the Edwardian Period). Anyway great video, very informative! Thanks!! ☺️
You won’t see any interstate trains/XPTs at Flinders Street. The standard gauge lines from Sydney and Adelaide run to Southern Cross, not Flinders Street.
It's a really sad that once the Metro Rail Tunnel is in use that trains from the Cranbourne/Pakenham lines won't be stopping at Flinders Street Station, how pathetic.👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
Packenham & Cranbourne lines wont stop at Flinders Street, Southern Cross, Flagstaff, Melbourne Central, Parliament, Richmond and South Yarra stations due to the opening of the Metro Tunnel. & Frankston line gets re-added to the City Loop.
@@RailAustraliaThat is pathetic and a inconvenience, no consideration for those that need to get of those stations so people that need to get off those stations have to put up with exchange train at Caulfeild into a already crowded train that's coming in from Frankston and that is NOT good for people that are elderly and or disabled, how inconsiderate and it's obvious that there has been no public consultation, the proverbial you know what is going to hit the fan, Metro Rail Tunnel, is not needed.
