This is totally awesome! I'm hoping to go to Melbourne in the next year or so and film every freeway within the greater Melbourne metro region. I have to say, this is perhaps the most unique approach to presenting a road video, and I could not have enjoyed it more. Awesome work and 5 stars.
@thatguyscomputer .. I read about the cleaning window thingy in some by-law somewhere - come to think of it - that might have been one of my wife's by-laws lol, oh well, thanks for watching :)
...2 weeks earlier I did this same route but didn't clean it. The video was good except there were yucky spots everywhere. That's how I got the idea of including the whole cleaning thing.
@flukemmvii Interesting obs. I tend to agree. Holden (Vauxhall) made by GM, and Ford abound. Maybe not as big as many yank tanks but certainly a lot of influence there.
nice to see a video that features every bad driving habit of residents of melbourne inability to maintain a constant speed doing 95 in the right lane weaving through traffic and a typical wtf moment from the red car @ 3:56 that said, good vid P.S. didn't know cleaning your window was classed as an emergency.
I saw the cheese grater and Jeff's erection but where's big bird and his yellow worm? Favorite Aussie freeway is Sydney to Newcastle, awsome engineering feat.
Very Cool! Man you guys are a lot more artsy with your freeways in Australia than we are in the States! Also, appreciate the point that a roadgeek needs to record with a clean windshield :).
