Storm shouldn't have to rely on cheeky tactics to win . They should back their defense. Not giving away penalties. The boys intentionally were too slow in the scrum, slowed the play of the ball, and were offside. Luckily, Souths were having an off day. If they gave that many penalties to a class side like Penrith that near to the try line. They gather points for sure.

Game of the year

Ordinary display of rugby league skill for most of this game. More knock-ons and simple errors than the 2nd tier school-boy competition. Souths have shown that they miss their little general. Storm don't seem as fit as they should be. Both Eels and Panthers will account for both these teams comfortably this year.

Storms looked weak, their performance tonight shows that they are like Rabbitohs who were beaten by the mighty broncos.

You see, that's why people hate Mitchell, he makes the crowd the enemy, he was spectacularly average all night, you could tell he was a bit rusty and uncharacteristically, he actually looked like he was owning it and I even had a little empathy for the guy, you could see him interacting with the crowd, putting his hand behind his ear, having a smile and a laugh but when he kicked that impressive 2 pointer, all of a sudden he flips the angry switch and starts swearing at the crowd, it's the same when he scores a try, he gets up and just starts yelling at the opposition or the crowd..

Latrell really needs to shift some weight, he looked so slow and sloppy during the game. Which is a massive shame because last year he looked like he was starting to get into good shape.
