He's talking about the current plight of the Assyrians. As a stateless nation. Without the cross, Assyria shall rise again. Look beneath the roots. Rise. Leave the cross you bear. It weighs you down - Melechesh
One of the only lyrics that I recall regarding modern issues. I’m Assyrian and I knew immediately this was the message. It also applies to many Christian minorities that are oppressed in hostile areas of the Middle East (Syriacs, Chaldeans, etc)
Fucking Cavalera used to love him when I was in highschool in early sepultura, fuck even soulfly(i was young don't judge) now every fucking song he is in its either rise or arise, every fuckingsong. Melechesh rules in general thou
Pa brate i jeste tako, sad mu je refren svake pesme recenica od tri reci ili neki nekoherentni zvuci, mada Babylonian Pandemonium zvuci malo drugacije od standardnog Kavalere.
Black Metal shall unite all. I have seen BM bands even in impossible places like Saudi Arabia and China, and now we have one that has it's roots in Jerusalem. Amazing.
That riff that kicks in at 12 seconds is so stereotypically max cavalera. They're definitely going for a more mainstream approach on this album by sound of it but it's sounding really good. The individual riffs are a bit simple sometimes but the song as a whole has a really nice progression to it.
Quite good, as usual, but I think people will start bitching about Melechesh not being a BM band anymore because they worked with Cavalera. Wait and see.
Not hating on the song, but Damn Nuclear Blast, get your editing team in line guys! this was cheesy as hell and you even left in the image from the Multiple Truths video! Seriously?
At least use something other than the video for "grand Gathas of Baal sin" in the background, NB you give no budget to the real artists, or you misuse it
This is a very enjoyable piece of music. Quite heavy i presume that is the intent. Good flavour , nice texture. I could worship satan to this easily. The evil goat nods.
This looks like a really cool band, and i'm doing my best, but i just can't get into this band, can someone recommend me their best work/songs or something? I really wanna get into it,but...nah..i don't know. this new song sounds weak to me(dont judge me,im new when it comes to these guys). So recommend me some stuff.
+punkny show Melechesh are 23 year old Middle Eastern Black Magick. I googled Hammercult. They are a Thrash band which started in 2010. Absolutely no comparison there.
