I am using Shadow in place of Spiritual for the bonuses to crit, sinister plot, illusive, and haste passive.... And this is a build I am using the Turtlepearl scepter to slow for 10% on 10% of melee autoattacks. I may just have bad trinkets.
You can Hover+Shift on skill to see breakdown tooltip of what it does. In the case of Brutal Strike - It says that the Heal scales off of Weapon Power.
If you like marshal I get a feeling soulblade (warfare, shadow, spiritual) might be fun to try since you have gear for it and only have to swap archery out
nazori, im melee since alpha and i ll say, do half leather set half cloth , Weapow power, and go have fun. usually t4 with dex or might and wisdom or vit go enjoy its pretty strong
If you want Full Melee Build i would go with Warfare/Shadow/Prot Im running it right now with 41 ll Effective Dual wield im clearing about 210 mobs/h At Glaceford Hunters/Druids/Knights Camp Stats:Dex/Might Secondary:Weap Power/Impact/Precision/Haste
im currently running nightblade as class so far only effective level 32, but i got my GCD to 1,03 seconds and my attack speed to 0,67 and it feels so good also stacked up on might so it still hits hard
While yes you could use range, Auto attacks via dual weilding are a lot faster than bow or other range weapons. So to an extent auto attack builds work better with melee (Light blade or Dual Weilding). The shield on the sword is solid with the sustain for keeping alive and Windstrike Spirit synergizes with the attack speed very well. If you were using a bow it would not have the same power.
