3 years late on the comments but thank you. I'm an old wizard from the 15th century. been doing Dai Vernon's symphony of the Rings for 55 years and came across the molero . never used ninja or GIR , honestly, didn't even know they existed , lol , but now there's enough information for me to go with these. 🎩

Thanks for the review, Steve. I called my local shop to have a set put aside, as I'm a Ninja Rings nut, too. Can't wait.

On one of my dvds there is a short video of Cellini performing his linking ring routine (with 2 rings) and it IS MAGICAL!!!

Richard Ross ring routine is the best I've seen. Celini also does a unbelievable routine with just two rings

@@WIDGI yes thank you for the correction

@@samwright738 I agree, it's spectacularly subtle. There's a moment, he casually flicks the key ring up his arm. I imagine it goes completely unnoticed by the average audience member but if you know what you're looking for, you have to admire the ingenuity and the confidence.

@@WIDGI Yes I copy the three ring part of Richard's ring routine I knew Jim Celini and to say the man was a genius doesn't come close to describing. his masterty of the art.. His two ring routine was so incredible you swore he was using a locking key ring and when I found he wasn't my mind was blown. To watch Celini perform was enchanting he was the magic. I believe his routine was called Lord of the rings. Don't quote me on that. I seen a magician whose name I don't recall at the moment demonstrate it brillianly on RU-vid some time ago

I've aways hold back on buying linking rings, but this looks like a great start.

Don't bother. Everyone knows the secret, it's in beginner magic sets. There is a key ring with a split in it. This set is no different. You get two permanently linked together, a single , and a key. For the most part you cover the split in the key with your hand. There's an additional thing which enables you to display the 4 rings in a chain. But everyone knows there is a ring with a split in it somewhere so it fools very few people despite the couple of bells and whistles.

@@PreservationEnthusiastThank you for the reply. I know, and you are probably right that most people will know, about the workings the linking rings. But people probably also know you load a ball under a cup. It's the fact that they have no idea what or when you did it, is what fools them. I saw magicians being fooled by a deck they knew was marked. I think the mistake with these is that people think of them as something for beginners, but it takes a lot of skill and practice to make them look good. Haven't bought them and I don't own any rings, but I think I might have fun to play with them. But its always good to hear multiple views on them, so thank you again.

@@88Stefan I think with cups and balls, there are so many variations and moves. Chop cups, false transfers, lifts, wand vanishes, hundreds of different ways to do final loads and what you load too, including liquids and livestock. With rings it's basically one effect, linking and unlinking, and achieved one way. I know there are patterns you can make and the handling is very skillful but the whole effect is too one dimensional for me. Good luck with it though!

Don't listen to the haters. Linking rings absolutely kills from children to adults. I can tell you from experience.

Thanks for the review Steve. Interesting product. As a Hobbyist who just started magic 7 months ago-- I am looking to branch out from cards. I've been watching various Tarbell coin lectures on Penguin and just ordered Split Focus to get into coins-- but maybe I'll try rings? BTW-- I'm learning a ton from your card magic course. I have very bad tendinitis in my dominant hand so some moves are just impossible to do-- But I work around that and have learned some amazing sleights after just 3 weeks on your course and a few great "Intermediate" card routines-- best money I ever spent!!!!

Hey David. Thank you so much and I'm so glad the course is helping. What a lovely testimonial. May I use it in my marketing? I really recommend having a play with the rings if you like the effect. Always a good reaction from spectators and really enjoyable to do.

The problem I have with all linking rings is that there is only one way the trick can be done. The key ring might be more clever than layman think but they still know there is a gap that opens up somehow.
