Gowther is a guy. Can't explain why since it is a couple seasons away. Also it is funny you should mention a potential connection between Liz and Elizabeth.

Knowing what I know about the overall story make these episodes bitter sweet. I love how simple it was back then and how tragic we never imagine it to truly be. I love Seven Deadly Sins but the anime really messed it up at the end of season 2. Too bad
