This remake was almost unwatchable. The script was absolutely terrible. Angelica Houston is an Oscar award winning actress. She deserved better than to have to play off of a line "So if you're not a witch who killed her daughter, where's Karen?"

I know this comment is a little old, but yes, there was a AYAOTD called The Tale of the Watcher's Woods, but the original movie came out in the early 1980's and it was called Watcher in the Woods..

Why would this movie need to be remade? Younger generations can find older movies even creepier BECAUSE of the generation gap. For example, Rosemary's Baby was creepier to me because it was an older movie. TWITW's is SO creepy thanks to the filming, the music, and of course, how can you remake this movie without Bette Davis? You can't.

@@LauRa-re9un it's different some 1970s movies are like really slowplace and overrated with boring long talks....plus they didn't remake Sabrina ..Teenage Witch was based off the characters and was a teen comedy like Saving the Bell mixed with Charmed and Chilling Adventures was actually based off the comic book being a dark fantasy horror teen show like Riverdale of 45min-1hr long

I prefer wcw road report before the fingerpoke of doom mostly on Saturday mornings like sonic x over that witch after growing all her child star ways for the barbera bush with Bruno sanmartino from them mcmahons in wwe except shane though calaways 4life gosh
