I wasn't hating on anything to be honest, the song is nice, it really is! I came to listen to it and to give it a chance, though... to answer your question. Thank you for asking why a human has an opinion though it's nice to explain it to people from time to time.
Everytime I listen to this song, I picture a woman and an out-of-work doctor stranded on an island. When she starts yelling "Doctor, Doctor" toward the end of the song, I imagine her getting in some tragic accident and her vision fading in and out as he tries to stop the bleeding and around "You're just a stranger" and "Even though it's trembling" it's because he doesn't want to lose her. Am I weird? Does anyone else do music videos in their head with songs?
How many producers have made a song with Veela's awesome vocals so far? Seems like I see a new dnb song with Veela's vocals every week (not complaining).
I'm not a fan of electronic music (I'm not really going to name a genre cause I'm not quite sure what it is...) but I enjoy this A LOT amazing song to mellow the soul.
It is a real genre, drum and bass is it's own thing, and i assure you this isn't house music of any kind, nor is it techno, techno isn't a term to describe electronic music in general techno itself is a separate genre

I don't think it would be a bad thing if she did something with a more mainstream artist, Veela and pendulum could work well and would help raise awareness of every artist Veela has already worked with. Not a bad thing in my book!
