This is fun, catchy, feel-good, the group is likeable, they can dance and sing at the same time and are very reliable performers. In fact they sound recorded, they are THAT good. They also stick to their signature style meaning they wouldn't get accused of "tactics vs. quality" by voters. They would do well on ESC. (The winner is still pretty good, too, but I just had to say this group is awesome.)
God this really has everything: disco balls, a STONKING beat, a blonde, a brunette and a gay choreographed to the last INCH of their SOULS and a KILLER key change. What more could you want!
Original? No. Do we wait something different from them? EITHER! They are loyal to their own identity, and bring the party to the stage! I would have loved seen the giant glitterball at ESC :'(
Sweden needs to vote for the best chance to do great or win the ESC and not the one we want to hear the on the radio the most afterwards. This song is a great competitor, it's catchy with a hooking chorus, they dance well as they sing well, they are fun to watch with their charisma i mean.. It's all there! Sweden chooses like a rollercoster, sometimes a winner and sometimes a huge loser. Sadly mostly fails past years but it´s been better for some years now. There is barely no grey area. Either we win/close to or we end up way behind. I'm disapointed yet again. It's still a good song that won but not that great and not the right one.
Joel Olsson Why wouldn´t we want to win if we are there.. Your question should more like have been "Why do we want to compete?". It doesn´t really cost anything while you´re in it but it´s expensive to sign up for it.
Actually, UK tried to get them to join their show to pick their representative a few years ago. Eventually Alcazar turned them down. They are very loyal Swedish people. If they would go to BBC next year, They'd represent UK without any competition and possibilities to win is high.
I would absolutely love it if Alcazar represented the UK in ESC. 1. Because they really deserve to be in ESC. 2. It's so annoying that "we" always seem to go for a safe song, i.e. the song that is most likely to reach the final. 3. It would be hilarious if Alcazar won, representing the UK (especially if we sent some bland Swedish idol-contestant that didn't even reach the ESC final.)
Green Hermit the wanted to join this year but the executive producer of Melodifestivalen didn't want them to join and if they had participated this year, their involvement would be their last, since this year is their last as a group.
I always love melodifestivalen, Sweeden have SO many good singers/groups, and have so much to choose from every single year. They could probs enter 3-4 songs and they would all to very good. :D
Moritz Aitzetmüller Not really jealous at all. We have a lot of talent here in the States as well. I just think they are a great group for being from Europe. :)
Moritz Aitzetmüller We still make real music here in the states as well. Many musical styles came from the US that some countries have only begun to exploit. I'm not saying that Europe doesn't have talent.
Parodi på texten: Skyll allting på björkman om det blir en flopp *Bonk bonk* Hallå där, öppna upp! Skyll allting på björkman om det blir som trams Får han en andra chans?
Marc R. No idea... guess their primetime was over :( Super unfortunate and sad, but they’ll forever stay with us and be a part of the swedish culture!❤️
There are so many mysteries in the world. Do we get visitors from space? Is there a afterlife? And how the hell did that song not won? Be far the best song that newer made it to the eurovision? It would have won, im sure.

+Diamant kusen As "Diamand Kusen" isn't gay enough. Lay it off, you didn't live in the 80's, it was a nice time and a lot of good songs. I admit this isn't disco but I still like it.
