The first sections of Melrose Place are always welcome. They were brilliant ! Even here in Finland in summer. Then we watched them with great pleasure.
I love american soap operas and this is one of the best, great music!Powerful!I love Amanda and Sidney.People who watched Seinfeld know why this reminds me of that show lol.
Wauw ! Going trough Memory Lane now. The 90's and my family. Happy times The song is great and must be one of the best songs ever written to a tv serie
Just looking at the credits reminds me why this series was so addictive. Look at all the sultry and vixenish poses by the ladies. Gotta love the camp and glamour... MP rocked!
I remember all of them, just brings back memories watching it ages ago! Can't wait to get to this Season on DVD. This theme always gets stuck in my head.
This scene was watched a couple years ago here in Finland. It was shown in the morning time about 9- 11. Its exotic feel was felt in the summer mornings. Thank you !
one of the best soaps EVER...nighttime or daytime for my money...And I LOVED Kristin Davis from Sex and the City on Melrose...she was such a great bad girl
I still like "Melrose Place" very much. When I think of this drame I remember good 90's. It was good decade to me. Of course I enjoy this decade too. All cast members were good looking and show was interesting. I became die hard fan of Courtney! Melrose Place is forever!!!
OMG!!! This opening song...lol I used to watch this show. I was in love with Andrew Shue (who was also a good soccer player I think?) lol What a surprise! I didn't know Krintin Davis was on this show!!! Well, I thought the ending was kind of lame...Thanks for posting, though*^o^*
One reason I'm really excited for the remake of Melrose Place is because I loved the show as a kid, but another reason is the theme music. :-) I'm anxious to see how they update it.
i loved michale mancini! he was so cute! and for the one who says that the show's credits are not longer in use these days... i totally agree with him!
Well, I dunno how much swingin' can be done on regular TV (too bad it's not on HBO!), but it's worth checking out I think. It just premiered a week ago, and also stars the guy from British TV series "Coupling" (Jack Davenport), if you're familiar with that.
I just checked the imbd site for it and it looks good...Jack Davenport is great! Loved him on Coupling and in Pirates of the caribbean. Thanks for the tip:)
I just recently finished Season 3 and I absolutely LOVED it!!! :-D In my opinion, it was SO MUCH better than the first two seasons! I remember watching the first two seasons and not really seeing any of what I enjoyed about the show, but, come Season 3, I watched it and said to myself, "Okay...THIS is the Melrose Place I know and love!" :-) On another note, now I can answer those questions that Jerry was given by the cop in that episode of "Seinfeld". lol :-D Before I had no clue. hehe
She was listed as a guest star because it was the only way for her to be differentiated from the rest of the cast since the credits were listed alphabetically. Aaron Spelling felt that Heather saved the show (which she did) so that was his little thank you to her. Star billing.
@ravia1988 Alyssa Milano played Michael Mancini's sister beginning in season five, but left in the beginning of season seven to be with Billie (Andrew Shue's character).
I've just seen : Desperate housewives, Charmed, Gossip Girl, Baywatch, Charmed, Pretty Little Liars, Sex and the City, the new 90210, Spin City and Days of our lives in a same theme.. And I'm obviously missing some.. !
OMG i am into like the new versions of 90210 and melrose place, but the people that used to come out on the old show are so famous now, like they are in desperate houswives, some are still in the new melrose place, sex and the city.. WOW i had no idea!
Melrose Place will be getting a makeover and joining the network that hosts 90210. "Melrose Place will shoot a pilot during the regular pilot season," the source said. But before a beautiful cast (which originally featured Heather Locklear and Rob Estes) can be assembled, a script needs to be written. Mark Schwahn, creator of the CW's One Tree Hill, is currently in negotiations to write the pilot, the source added.
Miss Monday nights watching Melrose Place!! One of the best casted shows ever, and that Josie Bissett is beautiful! Marcia Cross as Kimberly was the best villian ever....what a whack job!!
It was a mixture of both. It was on once a week like the new one but the storylines were so over the top that you could call it a "primetime soap" (like DH). For my money: the best looking cast in the 90s for TV, competing with the middle seasons of Baywatch.
I was just watching the Seinfeld episode where Jerry was out on the lie detector because his girlfriend wanted him to admit that he watched this show. LOL
