This guy mixes different genres so effortlessly and with so much flair. Actually this mix reminds me of those nineties classic Theo Parrish mixtapes, which I know were a big influence on him.
Naaaa, not at all. Mixing records vs digital are two totally different sports. Those Theo tapes or any vinyl dj that mixes different styles will have a more natural, more groovy way of mixing, riding the pitch, etc. More dj human feel.
@@matiasss550 definitely. I hate to say this but Theo has soul. This wierd and unexplainable understanding of groove, rhythm that cannot be replicated. Worse if you ain't Black. Danilo is dope tho still
@@matiasss550 Check out any of his vinyl heavy Boiler Room sets or his Solid Steel mix which is 100% original vinyl and you'll hear the groove / mixing style the OP is alluding to. Still present here if you look at how he quickly shifts between tracks using quick EQ use and impeccable timing but with CDJ's.

is Danilo making the transition to just performing under his own name? gonna miss the MCDE moniker if so although it will be nice not to have to explain, "no it's not an actual drum ensemble..."
netwerk - somewhere hanging over my head Such a nice track! Heard Danilo play it out live as well which was magical. I managed to get my hands on the LP.
