i really hoped i would get to see the molten wax float on honey funny story when i was little we used to keep bees, we only kept one hive and used the honey ourselves because we only had one hive we could collect the wax cappings in a metal bucket in which we would melt them so i was 4 or 5 and i asked mom what's in that bucket, she said it's honey i woke up next morning and my parents went to work so i decided to take a peek while nobody was looking took the solidified wax disk thinking that was the honey and bit a small chunk out of it

Nice, you get the honey out of the cappings the same way I tried. Get the temp just high enough to partially melt the wax and allow the honey to flow through without damaging it. I did it on my stove with a thermometer. That looks way easier!
